Why Testing Seeds On A Small Land Is The Best Agribusiness Plan

I've been studying plants and farming for a while now, one of the things I've noticed which I think needs much addressing is how some new farmers address.

A lot of new farmers to agriculture jump right into planting large fields of crops, buying large quantities of seeds to plant without verifying the quality of the seeds to grow on their farm.

In reality all it would have taken was a small plot of land to test the seeds before investing the hard earned money on seeds you're not so sure of.

This okra field I'm showing you is now growing strong. The area had recently been experiencing less rain fall for a month or so and the market price for all the fresh vegetables are dropping very low. This situation is causing many agribusinesses to be losing money.

But because this field is only a seed trial, it is giving great opportunity to learn and understand the seed quality. The okra are already producing lots of flowers within a month and all this time there has been no irrigation.

That shows great potential of these seeds to cope with local conditions. Gambeling by buying big land without testing the seeds locally first will fail as an agribusiness venture.

It is great to build up a successful agribusiness by working with proof rather than just selling seed packets with impressive print. The small trial area of okra seeds given a chance to grow by the farmer brought much relief and joy because the results as you can see in my video, are so impressive with the crops producing many flowers have come up already within one month without any irrigation water.

What this does is it gives you the farmer more courage to buy more seeds and go into full scale production to reap good profit from the harvest.
