Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

It was Sunday today and I had no applications in my mind. For that reason, I was quite relaxed and had enough time to do my morning chores. For that reason, I was pretty relaxed with the way I got up. Still, I was early to get up and then I performed ablution and then offered the prayers and started my day by offering the morning prayers, which is an obligation for all Muslims, and as such, I started my day with a positive vibe by making my bond even stronger with the divine. Only after making applications, I headed back towards my place and I straightaway went to bed again because the temperature has gone down very significantly and sitting outside or doing exercises in such an environment is quite difficult and it’s not advisable because the cold wave that is prevalent in the valley may even lead to fatal health issues.

Upon going into bed again, I was asleep quickly, and then at the time of breakfast, I got up again. Only upon finishing the breakfast, I was joined by my two little cousins who had come to our place yesterday and had been living with us and making our time very special. Now it was time to make them eat something because otherwise they won’t eat anything, as they are more concerned with playing and not with eating. Only after they finished their breakfast, they went outside and I was there to look after them. This time they were quiet and didn’t do anything to harm our peace. I needed to look after them because they have a very bad habit of going outside on the road, which could create nuisance for the traffic moving around and could even be dangerous sometimes.

I was there with them and I made them play cricket and other games in the backyard. I did enjoy my time with them as it was quite special, and I not only enjoyed my time but also learned a few things from these kids. My maternal cousin is quite naughty and he knows almost everything, and it’s quite intriguing that at such a little age he knows almost everything. Seeing his repartee, one can get easily astonished, and it’s quite strange that he knows all these things from the digital appliances like the TV and the mobile phone, and at this young age he does not seem to be conceding to anyone. Anyways, it’s quite an experience to be there with these kids, and it not only helps us to know how these kids must be treated and how we must make them play, but also to know about their aspirations, their hopes and what they actually want at this age.

Later in the day, after having my lunch, I was asked by my mother to accompany her to one of our orchards. Days before, pruning had been done. Now these branches needed to be collected and put aside, and the labourers had already done most of the work, but still some work remained there and that needed to be done today only because the meteorological department has predicted some wet spell in this December month. It tends to harm the trees if these branches are not removed because it actually helps the soil withstand and allows those rodents to move across and cut the roots, which eventually leads to drying of apple trees and huge losses to the farmers. For this reason, these branches needed to be collected and put aside, and the soil needed to be either poured or dug to make it loose and unfeasible for the rodents to move across while hibernating.

While I was out there in the orchard, I could see a good number of boys playing cricket and other games in small patches of land that have been left as such, as the winter season has approached and the cultivation season is off now. Later I returned home only after helping my mom with the work and again saw another thing that people were burning wood to make charcoal which they would be using during the winter to remain warm. It was very late in the evening and only after taking some rest was I able to move out again to buy some items from the market and also to meet my friends. Later in the day around 9:30 PM, I had my dinner and only after that I went to sleep.
