Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

Today I had to accompany my sister-in-law and my brother, who were going to undergo some tests at a lab located in Srinagar, the main capital city of our Union Territory. For that reason, I was mentally prepared from yesterday, and something related to it stayed in my subconscious mind, which didn’t let me sleep for long in the morning, so I got up without any hesitation. I purified myself, and after performing ablution, I went for the morning prayers at the nearby mosque. The morning prayers always help me embrace serenity and positivity, and at the end of the prayers, when we recite the applications written in Awradh-i-Fatihah, I consider it one of the most peaceful moments of my morning.

After returning home, I went back to bed to get some warmth inside the quilt because it was extremely cold outside, and staying out was quite difficult. After resting for some time, I got up and had my breakfast, after which I got ready. At around 10:30 AM, we left for Srinagar. I was quick because I knew we would get stuck in a traffic jam somewhere, usually due to the road constraints along the way and also because a bridge connecting our road with the main highway leading to Srinagar had been declared unfit for traffic just a couple of days ago. The traffic had been diverted through another route that could allow only one lane at a time. For that reason, we had to leave home a little earlier.

Anyways, we crossed that problematic patch and got onto the main road again, and then it was quite a smooth ride without much commotion. When we reached Srinagar, I dropped them outside the lab and headed towards a shop in Lal Chowk where I had left my laptop to be fixed because it wasn’t running well due to some internal issues. Fortunately, when I reached there, they had fixed my laptop, and it only needed to be configured and made ready for use. It took me almost an hour, and when it was finally time to leave with my laptop, the vendor didn’t ask me for any money because the technician who had repaired it wasn’t present, and the vendor did not know the exact amount I had to pay. He told me he would contact me on my phone number, and since they accept only digital payments, I was fine with it and left with my laptop.

While I was on my way to the parked car, I came across a vendor selling masala cxot, which is quite famous here in Kashmir. I stopped and had one. I actually enjoyed it because it was fresh and hot, and the spicy chutney wrapped with it was very tasty. After that, I left for the lab where I had to pick up my brother and sister-in-law. Upon reaching there, they told me they were walking towards the hospital, so I hurried, drove towards them, and accompanied them to the hospital as well.

Later, after finishing our work at the hospital, we headed towards a famous market in Srinagar city where they had to buy some items. I was made to wait outside. They took quite a long time because the items they were looking for were not easily available. At last, they returned with some fried fish for me as well. I was hungry, so it was quite a happy moment for me— not only because I had something to eat, but also because I had been waiting for them for long and was eagerly expecting them to come back.

I then drove them back home. It was around 8 PM when we reached, and now it was time to relax. My mom offered us some tea, and only after that I took some rest. At around 9 PM, I had dinner along with other family members, and later, at around 11 PM, I went to sleep and called it a day.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
