The diary game.Diary of 14-05-2024.A day after, being a polling officer.

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

Yesterday was the actual poll day and after finishing all the formalities at the voting station, I couldn’t reach home and had to go to my paternal aunt’s home at 12:30 AM. My cousin who actually insisted me to stay there over the phone was waiting for me and as I entered the premises of their house. He was really overwhelmed with joy to see me at their place. After having the dinner, I went to bed to get some relief from an aching head in which the buzz of the voting process that I had been a part of during the whole day was going on, and as soon as I got into the bed, I felt asleep.

As a part of my habit, I got up early in the morning at 5 AM, and after performing the ablution, I offered the morning prayers. After finishing the prayers, I got back to my bed to have some more sleep as I was experiencing a sleep deficit from quite some days because of the election duty, I had been deputed to.

Upon getting up at 9:30 AM, I had my breakfast together with my cousins, and then I got out to enjoy the view outside. It was quite a different feeling to spend some time out because the place I was posted at for the election purpose received a lot of rainfall in these days and for me the bright sunshine early in the morning today was something I loved to experience. It was more like a surreal thing for me and I spent some good enough time out in the lawn.

After basking out in the sun, I left towards my place, and my aunt accompanied me as she also left for her school which is located on the same route on which I had to roll back home. She is a teacher and had to reach school in time, and for that purpose I was quick to get ready and as soon as I reached a town located midway I was called by my brother who already was waiting for me in the town to get some pesticides back home which he already had bought from the dealer.

I reached home at around 12:45 PM after which I had some tea to get fresh. Even after sleeping for so long at my Aunts place, I still felt that dizziness, and I somehow could manage to not sleep during the day and went outside to spend some time with my friend who owns a shop in our village. After spending some two hours there, I felt a little uncomfortable and returned home.I felt some pain in my stomach and straightaway went to my bed to have some sleep to get relief. I avoid eating medicines because I am afraid of the consequences as I already had some in my childhood. I couldn’t have dinner and in place of the food I usually have I just had a cup of tea to call off my day.
