The Diary game. From Snowy Walks to Electoral Tasks: A Day of Planning and Progress

in Hindwhale Community9 days ago

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

My habit of waking up early didn’t let me sleep in today. Unaware that it had snowed outside, I went to the washroom for ablution. After that, when I stepped outside to go for prayers, I was surprised to see snow everywhere. Walking on the snow was a unique pleasure. Although the snowfall was light, it came after months of waiting, during which there hadn’t even been rain. Now that we’re in the midst of winter, the snow has finally arrived. I was certain that a wave of happiness had spread everywhere. I offered my prayers, made supplications, and then returned home. Upon reaching home, I did some indoor exercises, as I couldn’t go for a walk today. I burned a few calories, freshened up, and then had breakfast with my family.

Since there’s a lot of fieldwork these days due to the upcoming panchayat elections in a few months, preparations are in full swing, and we’ve been assigned an active role in all this. As the planning for future developmental works in the village is done by the local residents, we’ve been asked to hold a meeting with them, known as a Gram Sabha. Today, I went to the village where I’m posted for this purpose. Upon arrival, I headed straight to the panchayat. A few days earlier, I had issued notices and informed the people, inviting them to this meeting so they could voice their demands and concerns. The weather was cold, as the panchayat is situated on the edge of a forest. When I sat down, those who had come also joined me inside, and we began the planning.

After finishing the planning, I left the panchayat and went to inspect the developmental works taking place in the village. Around 2-2.5 inches of snow had fallen here, and for the first time this season, I got the chance to walk on snow in such a beautiful place, so I took some photos. The village is very beautiful, and it looked even more stunning covered in snow.

After checking on these works, I focused on the electoral roll revision since today was also our camp day. I tried to include as many left-out voters as possible. Thankfully, I received around 20 applications today, which I managed to include.

In the evening, I started heading home a bit early because this is a hilly area, and the roads tend to freeze quickly here in the evenings, increasing the risk of slipping. To avoid this, I left before the roads could freeze. I reached home by evening.

After reaching home, I was tired, so I freshened up, had tea, and took a short nap because I had a headache, probably due to the cold. After waking up in the evening, I resumed working on the inclusion applications that I had received earlier.

Before sitting at the computer, I went to the market to buy a few essential items needed at home. Once I returned, I completed uploading the forms online. In the evening, I had dinner around 9 o’clock and then went to bed at 11:30. This is how I ended my day.

It was all about 14th december 2024.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
