The diary game. Moments of Warmth in a Cold Winter Day
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
I started my day very early in the morning by offering the morning prayers after performing evolution and purifying myself so that I could enter the mosque. As such, I began by obeying the decree of the Almighty and performing the obligatory prayers, and only after that did I set off for the rest of the activities I needed to do.
On reaching my place, I went inside and sat beside the electric heater where I felt some warmth and could beat the cold I had been feeling outside, and after a short while, I went to sleep again. After some time, I woke up and had my breakfast. Upon finishing my breakfast, I went to my room to read a few chapters of Indian history, and as it was Friday today, I had to go for the congregational prayers. After reading a few chapters, I started preparing for the Friday congregational prayers.
Before I could leave for the prayers, I had my lunch quickly and then set off towards the main market of the village where the grand mosque is located. I was a little late to reach the mosque, but still I had enough time. After finishing the prayers, I headed back towards my place. I went to see two of my friends who were in the market, and I got busy talking with them and spent more than an hour with them.
Meanwhile, I got a call from my mother who told me to return and accompany her to the orchard. I responded quickly and reached home soon. Then I accompanied my mother to the orchard where we had to do some digging around the trees; otherwise, the road ends could harm them by cutting their roots as they spread into the lower layers of the earth. While we were working, I saw the neighbours burning some firewood to make charcoal, which becomes quite handy during the winter season, as this half-burnt charcoal is used in the traditional firepots that we use to keep ourselves warm.
Right beside our orchard is the orchard of our uncle, where my cousin and my aunt were doing the same work we were doing. I found it not so boring, as seeing others engaged in the same activity encouraged me and helped me finish my job quickly.
Later, I returned home, and after taking some rest, my mother asked me to check our storeroom where she had felt the presence of a rat earlier in the day. She had already set a trap for it, and upon checking, I found that the rat had been trapped. It was time to release it into the wild, so I went towards the hillside just a few metres from my house and released the rat on the other bank of the stream that flows through. Then I returned home. It was quite a relief for all of us because the rat had already damaged some items stored in the room.
Later, I had my dinner, and after finishing it, I went to my room to rest and refresh myself for the next day
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
