The diary game. Winter Chill and a Day Spent Between Office and Orchard
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
Today, I got up very early in the morning as I have a habit of rising early without caring about the weather or the season of the year, as it hardly bothers me. I usually prefer to wake up early because it gives me enough time to finish my work and makes my day feel longer. Upon getting up, I purified myself for the morning prayers and then went to offer the prayer in the nearby mosque, from where I returned only after making supplications.
Upon reaching my place, I went straight back to bed because staying outside was quite tough for me, as the temperature has dropped considerably and staying outdoors for long in the early hours has become difficult. It was around 8:30 AM when I got up again and had my breakfast. After that, I prepared myself for office and left through a shortcut route to reach on time.
Upon reaching there, I got straight into my work. Today, I also had to get a duty slip from the office where I am deputed for special duty, so I could send it back to my parent office from where I draw my salary. It is an obligation for an employee working in another office to present his duty slip, which serves as proof of his presence during the past month, and only then can the salary be released.
Later in the day, I returned home and, after having some rest and a cup of tea, I left towards the orchard along with my mom. These days, we need to check the trees because the rodents that move towards the lower layers of the earth during cold winter days cut through the roots and may cause huge apple trees to dry up, resulting in heavy losses. To prevent that, we need to dig around the apple trees to ensure the rodents do not reach the roots.
As my mom accompanied me, we met a good number of people on the way because she knows most of the women in the village. In the orchard, we spent a good amount of time doing our work and securing our trees. It was also a peaceful time there, and we enjoyed the serenity and the calm surroundings. Later in the day, we returned home, and again my mom met some other women along the way, which took us a little more time to reach back.
Upon reaching my place, I went inside and took a bath because, with the dry winter going on, a lot of dust had stuck to me, which made me quite irritated. To get rid of that, I took a shower before having something to eat. Later in the evening, at around 9:30 PM, I had my dinner, after which I went through social media for a while. It was around 11:30 PM when I went to sleep and ended my day.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
