I woke up at around six this morning, it's a government holiday here because the general election is going on. Everyone has special days like birthdays, anniversaries, etc. But in a democratic country, this general election day which comes once in five years is the best day. Today is the most important day for all 18 year old to cast our votes. So today I think I am going to do my democratic duty. For that I finished all the housework, finished cooking the morning and got ready to go for voting.

My husband and I went to the nearest government school where the poling booth to cast our votes. There was a lot of people standing in the queue, the women's queue was shorter than the men's queue, my husband and I stood in their respective queues, one by one they cast their votes and left, I also went and finished my duty and took selfie.

Today is a holiday for the children too, so in the evening Kavanar has to open his office, so I thought I could relax with the children and husband for the rest of the day. I decided to make something sweet for them and bought jawarisi, semiya, payasam mix, cashews, kraut etc. while coming. After coming home I prepared milk payasam served to my kids and husband they loved it.

After that I sat relaxed for a while and thinking that I can call my daughter who is in Canada, I called her through WhatsApp. Then she said that it was night time there and she was getting ready for sleep. I talked to her for about half an hour. Then she shared with me the photos she took there, which I am sharing with you.

A week ago I ordered a book from Amazon for my daughter who is here with me for her NDA exam preparation. The delivery boy called me that the order has been delivered. So, I told him to come home and deliver on the phone and waited for him. After about 15 minutes he brought the book. The price of the book is 600 rupees. This book is prepared for study and practice by those who have to write entrance test for Armed Force Officer Training in India. My daughter has also applied for the entrance exam and is preparing for it so I hope this book will be very helpful for her.

After that in the evening, I purchased the vegetables and grocery items needed for the day in the nearby grocery store. There were vegetables like carrot beans mung bean, tomato and fruits like banana apple sweet velliri. After coming home I sat with my husband for some time and watched the IPL match. Today CSK and LSG teams are playing. Batting first, CSK had scored around 172 runs. After that I had work in the kitchen so I got up and left.

After cooking dinner we all had dinner together and after that I sat in Steemit and finished all my toss for today.Today was a pleasant day and I went to sleep with the satisfaction of fulfilling my duty.
