Do you like the desserts made from milk ? Share some examples of desserts that you make from milk at home.

Yes, I really like sweet dishes made with milk. I make and serve one of them once a week. My son loves it very much, so I often make such dishes. We usually serve dishes made with milk on all our festivals and special occasions.

Milk has been very useful in making sweets. In India, many sweets are made with milk. Some of the desserts made with milk include payasam, palkhoya, paneer laddu, and rava laddu. Milk plays an important role in Indian desserts.
Some types of sweets are made with milk

  • Payasam: A thick sweet made with rice, lentils, or vegetables. It is usually made with milk or coconut milk.
  • Ras Gulla- A sweet made by fermenting milk.
  • Paal Gova: A delicious sweet made with milk. There are also varieties like twisted milk paal gova.
  • Paneer Laddu: A simple and delicious type of laddu made with paneer and milk.

Make any one of the recipes that you like most from milk, with a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images.

Paal Gova

I have made a sweet dish called balkova for this competition. It is very easy to make but takes a lot of time because the milk has to be boiled. Boiling the milk takes a lot of time and gas.

INGREDIENTS

💚 Milk 💚 Sugar 💚 Butter 💚 Almonds 💚 Pista 💚 Cardamon

Step1 :

Pour half a liter of milk into a vessel, place it on the stove and heat it well. Let the milk boil well and then break two cardamom pods and sprinkle them in it.

Step 2 :

While the milk is boiling, keep stirring it with a whisk to prevent it from burning at the bottom. When the milk reduces to its volume, add half a cup of sugar and crushed pistachio and almond pieces and mix well.

Step 3 :

Keep heating the milk until it thickens and boils. Meanwhile, grease a glass bowl with butter and sprinkle the almonds and pistachios broken into small pieces.

Step 4 :

After the milk is well stirred and has a paste-like consistency, turn off the stove and pour the milk into the glass bowl. After pouring, let it cool.

Step 5 :

After the milk in the glass bowl has cooled down, take it out and place it in the refrigerator for about 4 hours. Once it has solidified, take it out and cut it into the desired shape using a pizza cutter.

Step 6 :

After cutting, turn it over so that the pistachios and almonds that we sprinkled on the bottom are visible and arrange on a plate.

Now the delicious Paal Gova is ready This can be served as is or sprinkled with roasted cashews and raisins.

Do you face any difficulty during making this recipe.

This recipe is very easy to make, however, it is not that easy to boil the milk for a long time and boil it until it thickens. You have to keep stirring it until the milk is dry. My hands hurt while stirring it. At the same time, my feet hurt because I have to stand in the kitchen and do this for a long time. There may be automatic devices in the market for this, but since I do it manually, I have to endure these pains. Otherwise, I don't have time for anything else. However, this recipe came out very well. When I shared it with my family, they ate it very happily and said it was delicious.

At what occasion do you want to make your dessert.

This Paal Gova dessert can be made and served for all occasions. It is best to serve it before eating. It is suitable for weddings and other celebrations. However, it is not possible to make it at home because it requires a large quantity. It is better to order it from the store. I have made this for small occasions and parties at home. I have made this once or twice on my son's birthday and my daughter's birthday. However, when there is excess milk at home, I do not want it to go to waste, but make such preparations with it. You can also make such preparations at your home to prevent milk from going to waste. By making Paal Gova like this, it adds a lot of protein. It is very suitable for growing children. And because it is delicious, children love to eat it.

I would like to invite
