"Ugadi" festival was celebrated here the day before yesterday, so it was a holiday for schools. So we planned to go to some water theme park to spend the vacation effectively and cool off the summer heat. There are four or five water theme parks near our town. "Chillout" is one of them. This time we planned to go to this Chillout Park as none of us told this park before. So when we wake up in the morning we finish all the house chores and get ready to leave.

The theme park is near Perundurai town in Erode district. We are in Coimbatore district. About 60 kilometers had to be traveled to reach this park. We reached the place in about an hour because of the National Highway. At home we left around 8:30 and reached there by 9:30. Since they open at 10 o'clock, we all ate the breakfast we had brought by then.

This Chillout theme park was very small and not as big as they advertised. It is very small compared to others near our town. However, as we didn't have time to go to another park, we decided to spend the day here. The ticket price per person is 600 Rupees (Almost 7.2$) and since we were four persons, we bought four tickets as the ticket must be purchased from the age of three. Lunch had to be eaten in the inside canteen as food items brought from outside were not allowed inside.

After buying the ticket, we went to the locker room to store our belongings and there they charged a fee of Rs.50 and a deposit of Rs.100, totaling Rs.170. They gave me a locker key. We left our things there and went to the changing room, changed our clothes and then we went to play.

There were less dry games and more water games so we started playing in water first. My husband and daughter went to slide down the slides. We didn't go to big statues because I was scared and my son was scared too. But my daughter slid and played on almost all the slides. My son and I used to play pool and mini ski games there. Couldn't bring our phone as we were playing in the water. So I couldn't take more photos.

The theme park was huge but very clean. As it was a holiday, the crowd was very large. First we played in the big swimming pool then we went to play in the artificial fountain and then we went to the music shower where everyone was dancing while soaking in the shower to the music. We also danced with them.

We went to the canteen there for just two hours, bought vegetable biryani and had lunch. Relax for a while and then leave. We started playing again. We went by balloon in a canal that looked like a meandering river. It was very exiting while playing in the wave pool. All the people cheered with joy. So we enjoyed all the water games there and then we went and changed our clothes and then we played recognition games especially Mary Gold round roller poster etc.

The park was closed at six o'clock and till then we enjoyed playing all the games there. It was a very happy and fulfilling day. We felt very tired and exhausted after the sports season. After coming out we went to an ice cream parlor and bought coldrings and ice cream and left there and reached home around 7.30.
