The diary game || Better life with steem|| A visit to the nursery garden

Hi friends,

The day before yesterday, I visited a nursery garden located near my home—known as JM Nursery—to purchase flowering plants and pots for my garden. I am going to write about that experience here, and I hope you, the reader, will enjoy it.

This nursery is situated approximately one kilometer away from my house. Here, one can find all varieties of flowering plants, tree saplings, and creepers; furthermore, fertilizers required for the plants, as well as flower pots in a wide array of designs and materials, are available. Since it was the afternoon when we visited, there were not many people around. The nursery looked incredibly beautiful, and the plants had been neatly categorized and arranged by type.

For instance, chrysanthemum saplings were arranged in one section, marigold saplings in another, roses in a third, and jasmine plants in a fourth. Since they were all in bloom, the entire display looked incredibly beautiful; I gazed at them in awe and took photographs.

Similarly, a wide variety of plants—including aquatic species like water lilies and numerous varieties of Crotons—were on display there. Arranged in small packets and tiny flowerpots, they looked absolutely beautiful. I took photographs of all of them, zooming in to capture each individual flower in close-up detail.

In another section, saplings of trees and cuttings of larger plants were displayed. For instance, hibiscus cuttings—featuring various sizes and distinct flower patterns—were categorized and arranged for viewing; they looked incredibly beautiful. The display appeared particularly stunning as some of the flowering plants were already in bloom. Similarly, the section also featured tree saplings, including varieties such as Christmas trees, Sambrani, and Furnishia.

Similarly, in one section, bonsai-style trees were featured; saplings of various species had been artistically shaped and cultivated according to specific designs—some, for instance, were trained to grow in the shape of a heart. These creations were truly wondrous and beautiful to behold.

In another section, there was an assortment of flower pots—made from clay, cement, plastic, and even fiber. Their prices varied accordingly; plastic pots were available at very low rates, while the fiber ones were priced at the higher end of the spectrum. After browsing through all of them, I eventually purchased a cement flower pot along with some plants.

In that same section, there were also supplies such as fertilizers and pesticides required for plants; from these, I purchased the specific fertilizer needed for my mango tree. Specifically, I bought a fertilizer known as "Neem cake," as I understood that applying it to plants promotes excellent yields while also acting as a deterrent against pests. Since it is a natural fertilizer—and contains no chemical additives—I believed that no chemical residues would find their way into the fruits we consume.

Apart from these, there were flowerpots shaped like deities, Tulasi altars—revered by Hindus—and decorative fountain-style planters intended for home display. I admired all of them and took photographs. Afterward, I gathered the flowerpots I intended to purchase and inquired about the total cost; it came to 430 rupees. After bargaining, we settled on a final price of 400 rupees; I made the payment via UPI, collected all the items, and returned home.

Thus, my nursery shopping trip that day went very well. I felt immense joy bringing the plants home. I believed that watering them during the summer season would bring me a deep sense of peace and happiness. I hope you enjoyed reading this diary entry; please be sure to share your thoughts in the comments section.
