Hi bestie it's your girl KemKem1, I want to tell you how I spent my day. I woke up this morning having some thoughts in my head, and one of it was about My mom’s birthday which just passed, and I still can’t get over how beautiful she looked in the pictures she took at the studio. There was something so special about the photo that kept drawing my attention back to them over and over again. In fact, I found myself staring at one particular picture for a long time, just admiring her. She looked so young, so fresh, and incredibly beautiful in a way that made me pause and smile without even realizing it. It wasn’t just about her appearance, but the glow, confidence, and happiness that reflected in the picture. You could tell she felt good, and that alone made the picture even more meaningful. The studio lighting, her outfit, and the way she carried herself all came together perfectly to create something truly lovely. I couldn’t help but feel proud and grateful, just looking at her and appreciating her presence in my life. At some point, I even caught myself smiling repeatedly, almost like I was reliving the joy of her birthday all over again through that single image. It’s amazing how one picture can hold so much emotion and beauty at the same time. That moment of admiration honestly made my day brighter, and I kept thinking to myself how lucky I am to have such a wonderful and beautiful momWhile I was still admiring my mom's, I felt very hungry though I wanted to prepare soup but I decided to take something lighter first. The first thing on my mind was getting something to eat. I decided to have tea with fried potatoes and a plantain for breakfast. I also went ahead to bake a plantain myself, which made the meal feel more complete. While preparing the tea, I carefully mixed it to my taste, making sure it was just right before I finally sat down to eat. Honestly, the meal was quite light, but it turned out to be really satisfying. I enjoyed every bit of it, especially the tea, which came out perfectly the way I like it. As I was eating, I felt calm and relaxed, just taking in the quiet moment of the morning. It was one of those simple meals that end up feeling really special. After I finished eating, I took a little time to rest and gather myself, knowing I still had other things to take care of later in the day.
After eating the fried potatoes and the tea I went to the market because I needed to buy some ingredients to cook a local soup we call editan soup in my language. It’s a very delicious Nigerian native soup, especially when it’s prepared well, and I was really craving it. Before leaving, I also decided to get some fruits since I enjoy having them at home. When I got to the market, it was very busy because it was a big market day. The place was crowded and noisy, with people moving around and sellers calling out to customers. Despite the stress, I was able to move around, pick out fresh ingredients, and buy everything I needed for the soup, along with some nice fruits. After finishing my shopping, I headed back home feeling tired but satisfied. Once I got back, I didn’t waste time I started preparing the bitter soup, and when it was ready, everyone ate and really enjoyed it.After I enjoyed the meal I prepared, I got ready and went to work. The day went by steadily as I focused on completing my responsibilities and making sure everything was done properly. I am involved in an NGO health insurance work, where we attend to patients carefully. We check on patients, carry out necessary tests, and provide them with the required drugs. We also make sure to give them proper information and health education, teaching them what to look out for in sicknesses and how they can take better care of themselves in order to recover well. Throughout the day, I stayed focused and made sure I attended to all the patients assigned to me. At the end of the day, we closed and left. I then headed to get a taxi, and luckily, I met one that had not yet left, so I entered it and it took me back home.
