The Dairy Game: My Friend Came To Visit Me Today And We Did A Lot Of Activities Together(30-03-2026)

On today’s episode of the diary game, I’ll be taking you through how my day went. I always like to start my day with prayers, thanking God for the gift of life before doing anything else. Today was quite interesting, and the highlight of my day was when my friend came around to visit me. It was really fun spending time together after not seeing each other for almost a month. We talked, laughed, and caught up on everything we had missed. Aside from that, the past few weeks have been quite stressful because cockroaches have been disturbing us a lot in the house. So this morning, I decided to do something about it. I called my friend to ask if he had a mosquito net I could use, and luckily, he did. He was kind enough to bring it for me when he came visiting. I was so happy and grateful, not just for the net, but also because I got to see him again. Overall, my day was simple but filled with little moments of joy and relief.

So when my friend arrived, I was outside washing plates. You all needed to see the joy in my heart; I quickly stood up, greeted him warmly, and he went inside while I hurried to finish the dishes. I didn’t want to keep him waiting for too long because we already had some work planned for the day. There was going to be a lot for us to do together, starting with clearing the weeds growing around our septic tank. The place had become quite overgrown, and it really needed attention. One thing I truly like about my friend is how hardworking he is. He didn’t waste any time before getting started, and that motivated me as well. Even though he was strong and capable, I didn’t leave all the work for him; I joined in and assisted as much as I could. We worked side by side, cutting and clearing the weeds, and encouraging each other along the way. It wasn’t an easy task, but we made it fun by talking and laughing while working. At the end, he was able to clear the whole place, and it looked very neat and much better than before. I felt really happy and satisfied with what we accomplished together.

After we finished clearing the area around the septic tank, I went inside to shower and freshen up. I felt much better afterward, so I dressed up and came back to meet my friend. I told him to please assist me so we could go and buy wood for the net I wanted to fix on the window. The timber market is not far from our house; in fact, it is a place we can easily walk to, so we decided to trek there together. When we arrived at the market, we started moving from one shop to another, searching for the exact type of wood we needed. It took us some time, but we didn’t give up. Eventually, we found the right one that would be perfect for the work. We then asked for the price, but it was quite high and more than what I had at that moment. I explained to the woman selling it that I would come back the next day with the complete amount to purchase it. She understood, and we thanked her before leaving the shop. Even though we didn’t buy it immediately, I was happy we found exactly what we needed.

While we were still at the timber market, I decided to check the price of tiles sold in cartons because of a project I am currently working on. I knew I would need them soon, so I wanted to have an idea of the cost and plan ahead properly. My friend followed me, and together we moved to a few shops to ask for prices. We carefully checked the designs and selected the ones we liked most. After that, we asked for the price, noted it, and then decided to start heading back home. When I got home, my friend told me he would be leaving soon, so I quickly got ready to follow him out since I was also going to church. We both strolled out together, chatting as we walked. When we got to a junction, he entered a tricycle and left, and I also took another one to my destination. I arrived at church, carried out what I went there to do, and stayed for a while before leaving. By the time I got home, everyone was already asleep, and the house was very quiet. I simply went to shower, relaxed my body after the long day, and went to rest. Thank you for reading.
