It's another day of the week and I'm delighted to participate in this contest today organized by @deepak94 which talks about Mother’s Day Celebration 🎉 | 2024. I will be making my entry below so read through it and drop your valuable comment as it will be appreciated.

In this year's mother's day celebration I'm delighted to celebrate it with my mother. We have been celebrating mother's day for a long time but this one was very different from the other and the reason I have said so is because since I was celebrating mother's day, I didn't have anything to give to my mother and that doesn't make me look too happy.

I celebrated it this year on a ground style because I had something little to offer to her. Since I joined the Steemit platform, I was able to raise some little money by myself and in this year I decided to make the mother's day a memorable one for my mother.

Now we started the celebration by singing a song for her on the early ours of Sunday before going to the church for morning mass. Myself and my siblings went to her room as early as possible then we sang a song titled Sweet Mother.

While singing this song for her I can see the joy that filled her face and she was so happy that tears of joy came rushing. It was indeed a wonderful moment I couldn't take pictures during this time because the entire room was dark as we don't have light at that time.

She was so happy and after the song she told us all to kneel while she pray for us. So after the prayers, we all prepared and went to church. It was indeed an amazing experience in the church because all the women dressed in their uniform to celebrate the mother's day.

The mass today took a lot of time because of the entire celebration. We all had fun in the church as the mothers were congratulated and also gift were given to them by their husbands and some of the children around.

After all of these, the women performed for us all to see and we were so amazed at all their presentation because they had to change their clothes and then put on their sport dress to make the presentation. It was indeed an amazing experience and everyone enjoyed it.

After all their presentation, they still went around visiting house by house and wishing the mother's in the various home a blessful mother's day. It was indeed a wonderful moment and I won't love to miss such a gathering again for any reason. I felt wasnt prepared enough for this years mother day but I will do my best to get myself ready for next year's mother's day celebration.

Since I wasn't good in getting a gift, I decided to send my mother some money into her account. I told here that it was a happy mother's day gift from me. She was so happy because I haven't given her such money before.

She thanked me so much and prayed for me that whereever that money is removed from a hundred fold shall return back. I said amen and that was all about the gift. I'm hoping to get a better gift next year for her instead of giving her money and for that reason I have started preparing for it now.
