PARA SA GRADO, MOSAYAW SILA
Good day steemians!
In school protocol, every quarter the kids has 4 performance task to participate in order for them to pass the quarter.
One of the performance task of Grade 10 learners for Quarter 2 is HipHop dancing. And the Grade 10 MAPEH teachers decided to make it a contest. There were 20 sections but a day before the contest one section backed out because they were not yet prepared.
Hip-hop dancing needs a high energy. It is characterized by rock and bounces using the tune of hiphop music. The MAPEH made this activity to boost the learner's confident. As we notice, some of the learners had stage fright and because of activities like this, it helps them boost their confidence. Aside from that, they can also showcase their talents. They all have the freedom to make their own movements and arrangements every music. In this way, they will be able to develop their creativity to really compete with the other contestants.
The time alloted for them is not really enough. They were just given 1 hour everyday for 1 month I guess. So, sometimes they will ask permission to their parents to practice on weekends. Some allow some didnt. But I always remind their president to never force their classmates to go if the parents will not allow them. And they should go home by pair and on time.
I am so happy because by just a short period of time they were able to present it with poise and big smiles. They havent placed from the first 5 but I am still so proud of what they had showcased. I can see how creative, artistic and talented they are.
Creative because they were able to present it with many arrangements. And they were able to perform the exit and entrance properly and smoothly.
Artistic because of their customized printing of shirt. They bought white t-shirt and painted manually their names at the back and in front, for the boys they put CUYAG which symbolizes that they belong to section Cuyag and for the girls they painted two hands.
Talented because they can go with the music. They dan dance gracefully and I was amazed of their performance.
To sum up, even they havent place I am so proud of their performance. A thunderous applause for their performance.
