International Labour's Day , this day is an opportunity to honour the contributions and sacrifices of working class all around the world.
Every year on 1st of May, Labor Day is celebrated. The purpose behind celebrating this day is to respect their work, understand their importance and not ignore the atrocities committed against them. It reminds us of their sacrifice and hard work . If there were no labours, no work would have been possible in the country. Every sector needs labours. From health sector to political sector, a person working in a government office is also a labour.

Workers' rights cover a wide range of human rights, from decent work and freedom of association to equal opportunities and protection against discrimination.

The right of everyone to have the opportunity to earn his livelihood by work which he freely chooses or accepts is WORKER'S RIGHT ADVOCACY .

Fair Wages

The right to enjoy just and favourable conditions of work, in particular remuneration which provides all workers, as a minimum with fair wages and equitable remuneration for work of equal value, and with a decent living for them and their families.

Safe and healthy working conditions

■ Every individual must receive equal opportunity to be promoted to an appropriate higher level in his employment subject to no other consideration than seniority and merit .

■ A reasonable limitation of hours of rest, leisure and working hours and periodic holidays with pay, as well as remuneration for public holidays; must be in rules.

■ The right of every individual to form and join a trade union of his choice and the right to strike, provided it is exercised in accordance with the laws of the particular country.

This world urgently needs gender equality. There are many laws made for implementation of this idea but I feel that gender inequality is in the mindset of people. You see , despite of so many laws and regulations we still notice gender inequality very easily.

Gender equality means that all genders have the freedom to choose their desired career without any social pressure.Their rights, opportunities and access to society do not differ based on their sex.
For this reason, gender equality is often discussed alongside gender equality.

Effects Of Gender Equality

Better health

Access to good health care is often challenging for women because of barriers such as lack of income and education. If gender equality in health care is realized, women will receive better care which will improve the overall health of society. Studies also show that gender equality is associated with improved health of children.

More girls would be educated

Lack of education is one of the most important consequences of gender inequality. If girls are given equal education as boys in the society, then economic development of the society and the family will be possible .

Leadership

There would be more women in the workplace and workplace leadership. Their representation would improve if barriers to their success were removed. A feminine approach towards work can lead to many successes.

Families would be stronger

Men are negatively affected by gender inequality. If both men and women could make time for family without being discriminated against based on gender, this would strengthen family bonds and values .

More women would participate in politics

If gender equality is realized, the world will see a lot more women involved in the political process.

Gender inequality is a disease that resides in brains of people. No law can completely eradicate this disease. Only we can eradicate this disease by changing our mindset and growing a thought of letting others succeed too .
Live and let live by not interfering into the boundaries of others by deciding their talent and capabilities on our own . Let's stop controlling things and rather live together on this earth 🌎.
