Happy Sunday guys, I hope my post meet you all well.

It is my pleasure to share with you my entry in this week's contest which is titled "HWC Contest #42 || POWERUP & WIN WEEK 33" which is organized by @jyoti-thelight. What an interesting contest it is that you and I have the opportunity to take part.

It is with great delighted that I am having to share with you the process that I used in the power up of my Steem. Having already know, power-up is a wonderful program that is always advised by every community and the Steemit team in general to engage in. So I am joining other Steemians in the community to show the process which I used to power up my 13.670 Steem. Below is the step by step process and the screenshot for your perusal.

Step 1:
First and foremost, I login to my Steemit and properly signed in to my Wallet as seen from the screenshot below.

Step 2:
Now is the time to do the Powe up. I Click on the drop-down menu close to the Steem and then click on power up.
Once I click power up, it display the below then I entered the total amount of seems I had that I want to power up. Then I click Power up.

Step 3:
To complete the process of the power up, I then follow the instructions on the screen it ask me to convert to Vesting. Once that is done, my power up is completed

After the above process, the below screen shot shows my wallet and my steem power which is now 752.888 steem power.

The Importance Of Performing Power-Up.

The following are the importance of Powering Up one's steem in the wallet:

• It help me to grow my account by number of steem power and its strength.
• It also fortify and improve my curation reward at the end of the week.
• It help me to support more steemians by voting on their publications.
• It help me to perform more functions on the platform such as becoming a moderator, a community curator and many more.

Those are some of the few reasons why Steemians need to consistently power up their account.
