The Diary Game - 10/11/2023 - 12/11 /2023 || A Wet Friday, Funeral Saturday And Glorious Sunday

A very warm greetings to you all dear steemians in the Hindwhale Community and the Steemit blockchain at large.

It has been a wonderful day with great activities. Hope you dear steemians are having a great day also.

My diary game for period was full of activities. On a Friday if you are a government worker you will be familiar with the slang "Thank God is Friday."Signaling the fact that they will be having a resting days ahead, which will give them the opportunity to engage in their personal affairs. So when the day dawn on Friday, I was in particular saying, thank God is Friday I will rest a bit at home and engaged in some unfinished task both off line and online. Little did I know that the sky above is pregnant with water, waiting for the hour it's doors will be open and let go off its contents.

I went out to deliver a message to a friend along Udousaga street so I decided to pass along my wife's office since I was walking to keep fit. While I was on my way going, the once brighter weather began to wear a different color. So I have to increase my stepping so that the rain do not catch up on me. As soon as I get close to her office, the rain began to drop gradually. Does it means this Friday is going to be a wet Friday? I reason within myself as I hurry down.

The rain fell to the points that the streets gets filled up to the point that you can not even know where the gutters were. Even the vehicle finds it difficult to move. After the rain, it took almost 2 hours for the water to run out. So people had to wait for the water to run out before they can use the road.

For sure, the Friday was a wet day because before I knew it, the night has set in and it was time to return home.

The following day which was Saturday morning, I had plans to join my Christian friends to travel to Ibiono for the funeral of one of our members. I got to his place and join them to prepare some things, and he entertained us with some drinks. And then we were set to move.

We boarded the vehicle and the journey commence.

By the time we got to the venue the funeral discuss was ongoing.

After the discuss and prayer, the remains of the sister was lifted and move to the grave side. After that we returned to Uyo to the family house to attend to the guest. We eat and drank what was present, and discussed thereby grating room for interchange of encouragement.

After staying and enjoying the company of others and making our friend feel relief, it was time to return home, so we parted our different ways.

The following day being Sunday presented itself with a brilliant weather. I did engage in some house chores and later prepared to attend the service. The service was soul lifting because the topic dealt with how mankind will be heal completely from disease of all kinds and spiritual sickness. What a glorious Sunday!

After the meeting, I walked back home to continue with other activities.

It has been a wonderful weekend filled with different activities for my diary.
