Assalam-O-Alikum Friends,

Yesterday was a very special and memorable day for me because I went for Eid shopping with my husband in Madar Market, Vadodara. As soon as we reached the market, I was honestly surprised to see the huge crowd everywhere. It felt like the whole city had come out for shopping. There was so much noise, excitement, and movement all around that for a moment I just stood there and observed everything. The festive vibes were clearly visible, and it truly felt like Eid was just around the corner.

We started our shopping by exploring the footwear shops. There were so many beautiful sandals, chappals, and shoes displayed in every shop. The variety was amazing, from simple daily wear to fancy and stylish designs for Eid. I really liked many designs, but because of the crowd, it was not easy to stand at one place for too long. Shopkeepers were very busy handling multiple customers at the same time. Even then, they were trying their best to show different options. After looking at many items, I finally selected a pair that I liked, although I still felt the price was higher than expected.

While walking through the market, I noticed that almost every shop was full of customers. People were buying clothes, accessories, footwear, and many other things. There were families, children, and couples like us, all busy in their own shopping. It was a little difficult to walk properly because of the heavy rush, but at the same time, it felt lively and enjoyable. This kind of crowd actually shows how important festivals are in our lives and how much people love to prepare for them.

After that, we moved towards the Raopura Tower side. The entire road from Madar Market to Raopura Tower was completely crowded. It looked like a festival in itself. When we saw the tower, it looked very beautiful, especially with the lighting at night. The view was really attractive and gave a perfect festive feeling. For a few minutes, we just stood there and admired the scene. It was one of the best moments of the evening.

Then we went into a clothing shop to look for dresses. Inside the shop, there were so many varieties of clothes neatly arranged on shelves. Different colors, designs, and fabrics were available. I saw some really beautiful dresses, and it became difficult to choose just one. The shop was also very crowded, and people were waiting for their turn to see the items. The shopkeepers were continuously opening packages and showing new designs. It reminded me of how busy markets become during festival time.

One thing that I noticed very clearly this time is that prices of almost everything have increased a lot. Whether it was footwear, clothes, or other items, everything felt expensive compared to last year. Even after bargaining, the prices were still quite high. This made shopping a little stressful because we had to think more before buying anything. Still, since Eid comes once a year, we decided to buy the necessary things and not compromise too much.

Even though the prices were high and the market was very crowded, I really enjoyed the time spent with my husband. Shopping together, discussing what to buy, and walking through the busy market made the experience special. Sometimes it is not just about buying things, but about spending quality time together and creating memories.

By the time we finished our shopping, we were quite tired, but also happy. The lights, the crowd, the noise, and the festive atmosphere made the whole experience unforgettable. It felt like a complete Eid preparation journey in one evening. When we returned home, I kept thinking about how lively and beautiful the market looked.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience of Eid shopping. Madar Market and the area near Raopura Tower were full of life and energy. Even though everything was expensive this time, the happiness of shopping for Eid and spending time with loved ones is something that cannot be measured in money. I will always remember this day as one of the most enjoyable shopping experiences before Eid.
