You all are very welcome in today's beautiful competition. I hope you all are healthy and enjoying delicious food in your life. Today I am participating in this competition. I liked the topic of this competition very much. Because it is related to food. I like to participate in any competition related to food. I like cooking very much. I would like to thank @jyoti-thelight for organizing this wonderful contest in this community.
Everyone eats many types of delicious food every day. We eat many things from outside and many things we make at home. We enjoy all these foods every day. Everyone likes to eat different types of tasty food every day. Today I am sharing with you my today's recipe in this competition. Whose name is Dal Fry and Rice. This is a very easy recipe and everyone would prepare this recipe many times at home. This is a famous food prepared in every home in our country which everyone knows and makes at home.

Tomato | 1 |
Green chilli | 5 |
Green Coriander | as needed |
Green Onions | as needed |
Ginger-garlic paste | 2 tsp |
Cumin | 1 tsp |
Onion | 1 |
Oil | 4 tsp |
Red chilli powder | 2 tsp |
Turmeric powder | 1 tsp |
Coriander powder | 3 tsp |
Masala | 1 tsp |
Salt | 1 tsp |
water | as needed |
Rice | as needed |

To make dal fry, I have taken two cups of dal here. Which I have soaked in water. So that the dal can be cooked quickly.

Now we have to get a pressure cooker to make dal fry. In which we have to put oil. After the oil is hot, we have to add onion, cumin, and ginger-garlic. We have to let this stuff fry for some time.

After that, we have to finely chop tomatoes, green chilies, green coriander, and green onions and add them.
STEP - 4 |

Now we have to take red chili, turmeric powder, coriander powder, masala, and salt. We have to add all these ingredients and mix them. After that, we have to wash the dal thoroughly with water. Then we have to cook the dal by adding water. We have to let the dal cook till five whistles. After that, we have to open the lid of the cooker and check whether the dal is cooked.

Now we will prepare rice to eat with lentils. To prepare rice we have to take water in the pressure cooker. Let the water heat up. When the water becomes hot enough, we have to wash the rice properly and put it in it. We have to add salt to it as per taste. I have added three spoons of salt here. After that, we have to close the lid of the pressure cooker and let the rice cook.
