Dear steemianss:
I'm @poorvik, and I love watching Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches. I sincerely hope that everyone is having a wonderful holiday season with their families and friends. In this essay, I'll provide a report on yesterday's IPL encounter between the Delhi Capitals and the Punjab Kings teams.

The Delhi Capitals squad faced the Punjab Kings team in the 59th edition of the IPL yesterday. David Warner, the captain of Delhi, won the toss and chose to bat first. Ripple Patel was replaced on the Delhi team by Praveen Dubey. Similarly, Rajapakse was dropped from the Punjab squad in favour of Sikandar Raza.

Following this, the Punjab team's openers were Prabsimran Singh and Shikhar Dhawan. Shikhar Dhawan was out for 7 runs, Livingston was out for 4 runs, and Jitesh Sharma was out for 5 runs. On the other hand, another opener, Prabsimran Singh, threatened to reach his century in 59 balls. At the end of 20 overs, the Punjab team had scored 167 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

The Delhi squad played aggressively and gave a promising start, with the goal of winning by scoring 168 runs. Captain Warner, in particular, scored 54 runs off 27 balls. Phil Salt, who was by his side the entire time, scored 21 runs.

Following this, the Delhi squad squandered the good start provided by the pair, as both were dismissed one after the other. Mitchell Marsh, Roussow, Axar Patel, and Manish Pandey were all out for a few runs, confirming Delhi's defeat.

In the end, Hakeem and Praveen Dubey each scored 16 runs, and the Delhi squad totaled 136 runs for the cost of eight wickets.

The Delhi DareDevils squad was the first to exit the IPL cricket season after losing to the Punjab team by 31 runs. In a game that was literally life and death, the Punjab team defeated the Delhi team.
