The Diary Game: A Holiday Wrap Up In The Village(03-01-2026)

Hey y'all, hope you're good? Yesterday marked the end of my holiday in the village, I woke up and participated in the house chores and when I was done, took my bath and got ready to journey back to my base. Our last born kept asking me not to go else he won't buy me car when he grows up and won't be my friend again. I didn't know how to convince him not to get angry over my leave, I later reminded him that I bought him a phone and eyeglass so if he's not my friend then I won't buy those things for me again.

I finally caught him with those words and he consented to my leave happily. I thought of taking pictures before I leave but they didn't let me appear in the picture as I was the photographer. After the picture session, my mom asked my sister to bring out a nylon and she packed lots of Afang for me to take back. She also checked the plantain but unfortunately none was matured.

Everyone walked round the compound in search of what to give me so I could take back with me, my siblings saw some apples on the tree and called my attention to it. They were scared of climbing the apple tree because of the soldier Ants on the tree so I asked them to bring me a long stick which I used in plucking the apples. I had two things in the bag now to take back home, the one I fully had interest was coconut but we couldn't find the kid who normally climb it so I told them I'll get it next time when I visit. Now they pooped the big question, "WHEN ARE YOU VISITING AGAIN?

The question went unanswered as I wasn't certain of when my next visit would be so I only told them that I'll notify them about it whenever I'm ready to visit again. My sister walked me down to the main road and waited for me to board a cab before she turned home. When I got to my house, my roommate welcomed me with a plate of rice and stew which was so delicious.

I finished eating and took my bath, took my nap and woke up in the evening. I told my roommate to get dressed so I could take her out on a shawarma date to appreciate her for 2025. We went out and out favorite spot wasn't open so we decided to just hang out on the street before retuning home. I suggested we give another spot a try but she reminded me of our last experience when we have another spot a try.

We stayed outside for more than an hour and I also used that opportunity to write and post my diary before retuning home. I took my bath, had my dinner before going to bed. It's nice having you read my blog today, see you on the next one.
