Steemit Engagement Challenge / S16/W6 - "What happens if motor vehicles are banned around the world?
Hello. Warm greetings to all members of the steemit community and anyone out there reading with me right now.
It's yet another week, another season of the steemit engagement challenge , and I'm excited to be writing on this amazing topic "What happens if motor vehicles are banned around the world?". Lets dive right in.
As much as we all know most of our raging problems are coming from our own invention and the automobile sector playing it part perfectly. Vehicle are the pertinent means of transportation to us all around the world.
At first, only the rich were able to purchase these automobiles and the rate of gaseous emissions was quite low at the time. Nowadays the number of automobile has greatly grown overtime with almost every sector involved with automobile and automation services.
Going to the point where if this automobiles could actually be banned, I will say that the achievement really impossible right now. Nevertheless let's get more intel on this raging question as well discuss further.
What happens if motor vehicles are all to be banned around the world?
I will like to take us dated back in history were there were no automobiles, transportation used to be mainly by trekking, few parties using animal transportation.
To throw more light on this my grandma use to tell me stories on how they used to Trek from one town to another sometimes from one country to another for business purposes. At the time some of this distance were really far off that they have to spend several days and night on the road.
What was fascinating is that with all that labour, they lived a very healthy life and had one of the longest life spand which quite a few witness in our generation. My grandma is still alive today raging in her 90s. Such a bless to see your 4th generation.
Back to the real question, banning automobile around the world can not actually be realistic for the mean time and he have devote our lives to this means of transportation, which at the same time is killing our planet.
We are all observing and will wait for new technology to emerge as even scientists are already worried about the danger of automobiles to our environment. I believe new tech is raging underground and we should patiently wait for it to happen.
Will humans get seek again the help of animals for transportation?
This question take us back to the 1900s where no idea of automobile has emerge at the time, human use to transport goods and services by head, a big number by use of animals,
Wooden carriage were fabricated and attacked to animal bodies and then loaded with what ever load the have and the animals pursue to follow it course. Donkeys, horses, bull and elephant play their part at the time.
A part of the ethics group of Africa and South America still practices this mode of transportation as these regions do not have remote access to automobiles. Locals live a happy and fulfilling life just like before.
In our cities which we spend so much time cleaning 🧹, animals will really have to make a mess of it and thats a real deal if we get to a point of reintroducing them as an alternative for transportation.
Rural area pose little to no worries getting back to the old ways, but that wouldn't be the same in our cities. Imagine a pack of animals on our streets transporting individuals. It's will make a mess out of it.
Nevertheless if the worse comes to the worse we might resort to animal transportation but at a great cost.
How would our environment be without automobiles ?
Now have you ever seat outside let say, pass midnight or early dark ours of the morning?. There is this calmness you experienced from the environment. quiet, breezy and comforting.
Here comes morning, then the raging noise pollution begins as all persons are again using their vehicles.
My primary point will be that we will have reduce noise pollution to our environment.
When you get to visit rural areas we tend to notice the have clearer blue skies with less clouds, now we move back to our cities, you start seeing dark skies with tones of smoke and other CFC gases emitted out there at random.
Banning automobile will save our skies and improve our lives, reduce the rate of global warming. If you are following up this story with me, I will like you to pause for a second and search the current temperature of Douala Cameroun. It's getting 37° to 38°c majority of the time and this hasn't happened in the previous years. Nigeria a neighboring country faces similar traits too.
Lastly we hear of accidents here and there..from vehicles, there is lost of human life and the wreckage are left behind to pollute the environment. Automobile termination with limit dumping to the environment and save human lives.
What deal will it be if humans invent any form of transportation other than the automobile in the future?
This question is left in the hands of the research team. But then I will add that if we have come this far, there will obviously be transportation of the future. Who would have dream of the automobile in the 1900s, yet it evolve.
1940s automobile ideas had begun and back then they could invent automobiles without engines, they really had no idea of what an engine will be like and so relly on animals as a mode of thrust for their automobile.
Going to the 1950s and till present technology has greatly evolved such that compacted pieces of metals called engine could actually cause a thrust force.
I watch a lot of science movies and I see, them try to mitigate a new mean of transportation, e.g time travel using teleport travel. But all of that ends in the movie..
But like they say if you could dream it, you are one step closer achieving it. So I believe the new tech will obviously come up with their own mode of transportation maybe not in our century but for sure they will.
Rounding up automobiles really play a big part in our society, and I don't think eliminating them completely will solve the problem. I suggest we look at the traits of automobiles to our environment , re-evaluate and then modernized them to limit their harmful effects.

I think motor vehicles can't be banned in any county because it has been of help to us in many ways.. with the help of this vehicle we are able to transport our goods and services to different places in the world. Thank you so much for sharing a contest with us .By reading your post , I come to learn that you gave various answer about your post.If the motorcar ban ,we will suffer a lot of .It took long time to reach from one place to another places. People used various kinds of vehicle in ancient time.If the people can take help from other vehicle,it will not be better than the other vehicle think that if there is no vehicles we will suffer a lot. we can not move easily from one place to another.If we use other vehicle instead of motorcar ,our environment will be from all kind of pollution.
