The Diary Game [07/04/24] : Attended Sunday mass and played street basketball for the first time this year

Greetings steemians, how are you doing? Is finally Friday again, have been spending most of my time studying for my exams that's starting from tomorrow till June.I to create a diary game post in steemit before I continue with my studies. I wish to talk about the 7th day of April 2024. A day I enjoyed so much because I had alot of fun. Stay tuned as I begin the post entirely.

Morning Period

That Sunday morning I woke very early so that I can attend the first mass for the day and as an altar server am also serving the mass. I blogged in steemit for two hours that early morning before I took my bath and brushed my teeth and dressed up. I wore my new black steemit promotion polo to church that day. Immediately I arrived at the church I arranged our Reverend father's vestment on a table covered with white material.

The mass began and I served it after charging my phone at the choir stand close to where I was sitting at the altar. 2 hours later the mass ended and I went straight home because I was very hungry and immediately I ate breakfast at home and began to do few morning chores and I also began to blog in steemit. Am the only at home because my family attended the second mass.

Afternoon Period

My family members came back and my mum rested for a while before she prepared lunch. That day I was going to play basketball in the street with my high school classmates. I began to prepare myself for the game, I watched few basketball highlights in Instagram to know some skills I will use that day 😂. I stopped and went outside to clean my shoe, I only use that shoe to play basketball and I was so excited that the shoe is still in good condition.

It was time for me to go and I have already lunch so I reviewed few posts in Hotnews community and got set to go. I took money from my locker so that I can use it to board a bus to the place we are playing it. I kept my shoes inside a blue and black polythene bag, my basketball singlet was also inside and also my eyeglass case. I entered the bus and took picture of one part of the road as I was inside and he vehicle was moving fast.

Evening Period

Ok I arrived at the place and I became more excited, my friends haven't began yet as they were just jumping to see if they can reach the hoop. I took pictures of some of their footwear and my foot, we didn't wear shoe. I brought my shoes but I didn't feel like wearing it anymore and I think that's one of the reasons I couldn't jump higher the way I used to before.

The game began and am the guy wearing a semi-white singlet. The game was amazing. We were only five in numbers so we had to substitute one person each time one team scores two goals. I decided to sub first since I came last and that was when I got the opportunity to take pictures of them. I also played and 10 minutes. I wasn't as good like before because I haven't played basketball for almost one full year and it took time before I was even getting myself.

Towards the ending of the game I was able to play well. We also did alot of videos and we still played when rain was falling. We were always distracted by vehicles passing by as we were playing on the road in the street.

We finished playing few minutes after 6pm and I wasn't really tired because I didn't play much and I was excited I didn't sustain any injury so I just arranged my things and washed legs and hands, you know is basketball so washing of hands is more important than that of our leg. My friends house was quite close to the street we played the basketball, it was the street of the owner of the ball and the net. I went home and boarded a Keke, my house was very far from the place.
