I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am very well. Today I will participate in a great engagement challenge with a recipe. So let's get started. This is the first time I have made a recipe through an engagement challenge.

What Khaman Dhokla

Foods are made using gram flour in your region? Are any of them cooked in steam? (Number 2)

Yes, gram flour is used in Bangladesh. There are some special dishes in our country in which gram flour is the main ingredient such as beguni, potato chop, bundiya and bara. However, in our country, no food is steamed with gram flour and all the dishes that I have mentioned are usually fried in oil. One of the dishes in our country is gram flour made with gram flour. This food is quite delicious to eat and is available at home or in various hotels on the roadside from afternoon to night. In addition, foods made with gram flour are usually eaten more during the month of Ramadan. In addition, foods made with gram flour are eaten more or less throughout the year.

Preparation method :

  • Step 1: First, I will mix baking soda with water in a bowl. I will prepare this water for mixing gram flour.

  • Step 2: Now I will put gram flour in a bowl and add turmeric powder, sugar, salt and a little cooking oil in it. Then mix it well.

  • Step 3: At this stage, I will add lemon juice to the gram flour mixture and add baking soda mixed water. Mix well and make a smoothie draw.

  • Step Four: Now brush oil in a bowl, this will prevent Khaman Dhokla from sticking to the bowl. Then put the gram flour mixture in the oil-brushed bowl.

  • Step Five: Add a little water in a pan and place the gram flour bowl with a strainer and steam it for 10 minutes. Once done, remove it from the stove and place it in another bowl.

  • Step Six: Wash the green chilies and coriander leaves with clean water and chop them finely. Then make a sugar serum by mixing sugar and water.

  • Step Seven: Heat oil in a bowl and fry the mustard seeds, green chilies, coriander leaves, asafoetida in it. Then remove it from the stove and cool it and add it.

  • Now I will pour the ingredients fried in oil in the gram flour dhokla. That's it for my today's recipe Khaman Dhokla
