The Diary Game: A Busy Friday Engagements(16-01-2026)

Hey there, welcome to @sheilamkz blog. I started the weekend on a busy note and with that I couldn't share my Friday's blog but here it is. I got up early and prepared my children for school, I went to my shop after dropping them in school. I was the first to arrive my shop on that day so I did all the cleaning and arrangements. When I was done with that, I sat on the chair outside waiting for the arrival of my apprentice so I could step out to the market and get one or two times.

While still waiting for my apprentice to come, a customer came in for weaving but she didn't need the normal cornrows without styles, as a Gen Z, she needed something outstanding so I got into work and have her something that matched her taste and style. I finished within an hour and got my pay and I took my handbag and left to the market as all my workers had arrived the shop while I was still working on the customer.

I saw some beautiful handbags that l felt I should own, I walked right there but didn't see the owner of anyone to make enquiries about the bag but while walking away, I had someone call out on me and when I turned, he asked if I was looking for him and apologized that he left to use the convenience. That was a valid reason for not being on duty do I walked back to the bag spot and he attended to me, the bags were not just beautiful, they were affordable as well.

I went to my customers stall and bought some hair products from him, it even looked like she was out of goods and since I'm way too inquisitive, I asked and she told me she will be going to Aba for restock the coming week. I bought the few items that were available and went back to my shop, I was hungry and had to buy snacks, meat pie and malt to hold my stomach. Some minutes later, a customer came to make this trending short ponytail braids and I got into work immediately and finished in the evening.

It was 5pm, few hours from my closing time but my stomach kept crying for food. I had to rush home and have a plate of food before returning back to the shop to continue with work. As I got to the shop, one of girls took permission to leave for her choir practice in the church, I permitted her and she left. I stayed till about 6:30pm when I was about packing items into the shop, a lady came and did gel and I accepted to do it because it doesn't take much time.

While I was working on the customer, my girls were packing items into the shop and I locked the shop when I finished making the hair and went home. I prepared dinner at home, served my family before I took my bath and joined my husband to eat. I was too tired to write because of my busy day do I went to bed. That's all for Friday's engagements, bye for now.
