Marriages are "made in heaven"

Hello to all my Steemit friends,

It is often said that human marriages are "made in heaven," and to validate this adage, our civilization and society—through the many married couples committed to one another—stand as living proof even today. In our country, the bond of marriage is regarded as a deeply intimate connection; sustaining it requires immense sacrifice, perseverance, a sense of belonging, and unwavering dedication.

Spending one's entire life with a single individual is an act requiring profound patience and trust. Upholding this very tradition, a very close friend of mine recently celebrated the completion of 50 years of marriage. Remarkably, despite having reached this milestone, he appears as youthful and vibrant as ever.

My friend is a strict vegetarian, abstains from all vices, and is a devoted practitioner of yoga and meditation; he is also a retired government official. Even at his current age, he remains fully active and engaged; he offers his services to the public free of charge as an acupressure therapist, providing relief to patients suffering from various incurable neurological ailments. His wife is a perpetually cheerful homemaker.

The couple celebrated this auspicious occasion in grand style at a luxurious four-star hotel. The celebration was attended by a select group of close friends and family members, and the ceremony itself was distinguished and tasteful. A variety of culinary delicacies were served, and the entire event was conducted in a serene and dignified atmosphere, devoid of any loud commotion.

Everyone present wished them a long and healthy life, offering their blessings for their continued companionship throughout their remaining years.

Attending such ceremonies brings a sense of both mental and physical fulfillment. Moreover, it serves as an inspiration to all—encouraging them to stand by their own life partners with the same loyalty and sense of responsibility, and to honor the vows and sacred tenets undertaken at the time of their marriage.

To my fellow Steemians, I am delighted to share that next February, my own marriage will also complete its 50th year—and perhaps, my wife and I will be able to celebrate this milestone in a manner similar to this wonderful ceremony.
