The Diary Game: Eating Ekpang Nkukwo, Going To Work And Attending Meeting 5/3/2026

My neighbour is an Akwa Ibom woman and she prepared one of Akwa Ibom's renowned food (Ekpang Nkukwo. I don't know if the spelling is right but that's exactly what she prepared. She brought it and gave it to me to eat, I was so anxious to taste it and know how it feels like because I saw her this morning when she was preparing it and from all indication, I know it takes a lot of work and time to prepare it.

You want to know the review? The food is 100% delicious, she really prepared it that I was almost tempted to ask for another plate. I don't know how the Akwa Ibomites came about to know this type of meal but all I know is that this meal is so delicious.

After eating, I was already sweating, my wife told me she wasn't going to eat, I guess she was scared of the food due to how the texture was. But for me, I ate till I even licked the plates.

When I stood up from where I was sitting down, I went to the bathroom to bath because it was time for work and I didn't want to waste another minute at home. Since my wife was ready when I was ready to go to work, I took her on my bike to her shop and then I left to my shop immediately.

I was at the shop, we had so many sales today, I was wondering what was causing such huge sales today that's Thursday, it was even in the evening that I heard that the prices of cement had gone up and I was still selling at the old price, I just laughed it all because for me, I won't restock much till the price has gone down.

I know that by rainy season, the price of cement will come down, then will be a good time to restock my warehouse. So in the evening, I had a reminder I set for our street meeting, I left the shop to the meeting.

I was late for the meeting so I asked they forgive me because it was an unavoidable event that made me not to come early. Two new people moved into the street and they brought their usual refreshments and today was their introduction day. Also, we were to discuss the security issues in the street and how to hire vigilantes.

After the meeting finished, we went out ways and I went to my wife's shop. She didn't have much customers meaning that there were no much work for her so I went back to the house to park my motorcycle.

When I came back to the house, I prepared our dinner so that if my wife comes back, she won't have to come and stress again. I slept before they came back and only woke up now when they came back home. Thank you so very much for today, let's have this time again tomorrow.
