Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game | Degree Verification in Lahore: My Two-Day Experience at HEC and MOFA

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. I have come to Lahore to get my degree verified, which I had to get verified from HEC and MOFA, so I stayed here overnight. It is morning now. The sooner I reach the HEC office in the morning, the sooner my token will be activated and the sooner I can get my degree verified because I have to get my degree verified from both places on the same day because I cannot stay here for another night.

I had stayed at my friend's house at night, so I woke him up early in the morning and said, "I am going to the HEC office. You take care of yourself. I will meet you again." When I got the time in life, after saying goodbye to him, I got a lift, which is a service here in Lahore that is very useful. This service reaches wherever you are picks you up and takes you to your assigned place. So I got a lift and after getting it done, I went straight to the HEC office.

The HEC office opens at 8 am, but I had reached here at 7:15 am. As soon as I reached there, three women were standing there ahead of me because they knew that the sooner they went, the sooner the token would be given and the sooner their turn would come. That's why they stood ahead of me. I also went to them and stood there, and people started coming and gathering. About 15 minutes before 8 am, they opened the gate, checked our documents, and started sending us inside.

I got my documents checked and went inside where there are counters where we have to submit all our required documents. As soon as I went inside, there was a token machine there. I got my token from there. As I had reached after three women, I got the fourth token. I took my token and instructions were written on a wall according to which we had to set our documents. After taking out our documents, I set them and stapled them. After stapling them, I started waiting there. At around 8:30, they open the counter.

As soon as the number started running on the counter, they quickly started covering all the people because it gets very crowded there, so the faster they work, the faster people will be able to go home, so they started working very fast because there are four counters there, so they started working on all four counters, my number came quickly, so after setting them, I went to the counter there and submitted my documents. They wrote me a number that you can get your degree back between 10 am and 6 pm because they have to attest to that degree during that time.

The biggest problem here is that we are at risk of rejection because they reject our documents on a small issue, due to which we have to face a lot of difficulties. After all, it is about 300 kilometers away from us, so it is quite difficult for us to go there. So I thanked God that I did not have any rejection, it was for everything and they had submitted my documents. Now I did not have to worry about whether my documents were bad or if there was any problem in them.

Meanwhile, some of our friends had already made their way to the border, so they were also with us. They also submitted their documents. Then we were hungry because we had not had breakfast in the morning, so we arrived here early and submitted our documents. Now we had about an hour and a half, so we went for breakfast, and all of our friends together went to a hotel near us.

Since I just met this friend today, they are new friends, so we sat there and talked for a while and together we chose paratha, and tea and ordered an omelet and sat there and had their breakfast. After breakfast, we chatted a lot in the office, which was also cold. Then we went to the park in front, sat there for two, and started spending our time because we had to get those documents between 10 and 11.

As soon as our time came, we reached the HEC office again and there we saw that there was already a huge rush because we had arrived early in the morning, due to which we did not face much difficulty, but now a lot of people had gathered here and we were worried that maybe our documents had not been cleared yet, so we went from there and asked the counter if we could get our degree, they said that your number has not come yet, please give me something to wait, so we sat there in the hall and started waiting for our turn.

After a while, they called the token holders from 1 to 19 and said that your degree has been verified, you can get it from here. We got that degree with great joy and saw that the verification had been done for us and the thing we were worried about was our concern. Now we have to go to MOFA and get it attested from there too, so to get it tested from there, we have to get it tested here first, so we were more worried.

We didn't have much idea about the roads of Lahore, so my friend and I, who had met us here, set the location on our mobile and walked towards that location and we reached the MOFA office. Agents are standing there who charge us a lot of fees. Even the ticket there is only 50 rupees, but they charge us 4000 rupees so that they can get our work done in two hours. But today, the rush was very low, so we thought that we would do it ourselves and we would save money and get our work done.

We left our bags outside because there was no need to take them inside, nor was there any permission. We took our documents and money, etc., and entered the gate. As soon as we entered, there were two lines, one for ladies and one for gentlemen. It was almost half full. We also stood in the same line and waited for our turn.

As soon as our turn came, we submitted our documents and got a ticket from them. The ticket would be placed on the back of our degree. We charged 50 rupees for this ticket. Along with that, they gave us a form. We filled that form sitting on the side. On it, we had to mention our name, our identity card number, our phone number, and the documents that we wanted to get verified. So we mentioned them and we put the ticket they gave us on the back of our degree.

After we got our degrees ready, we entered another hall where there were counters. We had to submit our documents at these counters so that our final degree could be verified from here as well. There was a long line there too. We went to the same line and stood and waited for our turn. There were people from the Simoleon country who were studying here and now they wanted to get their degrees verified. We just met them and had a good chat because they also knew the local language.

During a chat, it was our turn, we submitted our documents and they told us that we could get our degree back by 4 pm. So we submitted our documents and were free now. So we friends went out to see Lahore together. My friend had work to do. He said that I had to buy some spare parts for my motorcycle, so we had to go to the market where the Lahore Hotel is. There are all the motorcycle markets below it. We will get those things there. So we sat on the motorcycle and set the location of this place on our mobile and went that way.

After buying the spare parts from there, we went to the hostel of this friend where he lives. He is originally from Multan city. He lives here for study and work. So we went to his hostel so that we could have two to three hours to relax and have our lunch. So we reached his hostel.

There we rested for two hours and had our lunch and thus we got fresh and we also had our lunch and our time also passed. Now we had to reach MOFA again to get our degree again, so from there we went straight to the MOFA office.

When I checked again after checking the MOFA, the tokens worth 400 were running, our number was 500, so we started waiting there for our turn. After about half an hour, our number came and we got our degree from there, which they had attested on the back side. Now our final work is complete.

You can see on the back of my degree that we have got our degree attested by everyone from our university to HEC and MOFA. Now, when we go to any country for work or study, they will know which degree we have done because there is a bar code on it. They can scan it and see it. Now, we don't need anything to go to any country. Everything is complete. We have got our documents verified.

Thus my journey to Lahore ends here. Now I have to return home because I have already told my friend that when my work is completed, I will go back. If the work goes on the next day, then I will stay at your place again. So I set the location again from there and called the service above along with me. He dropped me at Thokar Niaz Baig base.

After this, I went straight to the Faisal Mover terminal. From there, I bought a ticket for Sahiwal, which I got for Rs. 900. After buying the ticket, I saw the time on the ticket and it was about 10 to 12 minutes to board the bus, so I stood outside and waited for it.

Some of my friends had joined me on my trip to Sahiwal, so I had a great time with them. We sat together on the way and chatted, and our two-to-two-and-a-half-hour journey went by very smoothly.

I thanked God that in this two-day journey, I got my degree verified, got it done from HEC, got it done from MOFA too, now I and am taking the finals towards my home. The bus dropped me off in Sahiwal. From Sahiwal, I caught a van and reached my village straight away.
