Today I have chosen processing of the high quality rice. The rice mills in my area produce good quality rice and they export these rice in other countries. So they are of high quality.

First of all the rice mills buy rice from the farmers in bulk. Then the process of the the production of the eating rice starts and enters the next step. Then they store it in the open place.

There is need to make the green rice dry. In order to make them dry they spread the rice in the open space. They spread them in the morning and they absorb the all day sunlight. After that they again fill the rice into the sacks to protect them from the night moist and dew drops. This process is repeated several days.

Many workers are hired according to the quantity of the rice. They continuously work to make the rice dry. Some people work on a lease. It is not an easy job it requires a lot of labour force. The team check the dryness of the rice and then pass it. After the approval then the rice are filled again in the sacks.

Then the rice are brought in the store room from where they have to be processed in the rice mill to remove their peels and to get the fresh rice. There is the need of an engineer who manages the machine work to avoid the problems. The experienced person run these heavy machines. He continuously monitors the machines and meanwhile check the rice sample if the machines are working well and producing the required quality of the rice.

When the rice are acquired. Then the filling process starts. There are different packing sizes of the rice. The rice are packed into the sacks. Some companies give their printed packets to fill the rice in them. The workers measure the weight and fill the exact weight into the packets and then bind them. Now the rice are ready to export to the markets and to different countries. In this way the green rice are processed to the rice which we buy and cook at home.
