"One Picture And One Story Week #25"

Once upon a time there was a fertile land in the valley of Jordan, where two cities named Sodom and Gomorrah were present. This land was fertile for agriculture.

A family consisting of husband, wife, their daughters, and flock was searching for home. On seeing the fertile land they decided to live in those cities.

When they settled down they came to realise that the people of the cities are extremely wicked. They were not hospitable, would tease, robe, and desire for men's sensual pleasures.

The man who settled with his family was pious, he didn't like people in that state of affairs. He started to preach them saying what you do is not the norm of any sensible and decent nation.

Start behaving in a natural way in which Almighty has created you.

They would laugh on his teachings and say this piousness is not for us, take it for yourself.

They didn't stop doing their wickedness with each other and travellers.

Once two young men entered in the city, the pious man was sitting near the gate of the city. He became worried on seeing these two young men and the wickedness of his nation.

He invited those young men to spend night in his house (before his nation see these men). Those young men agreed.

The pious man asked his wife to prepare food for the guests. His wife(whose name was Edith) was also not a believer and supported the indecency of the nation(though she wasn't herself involve in that).

When she saw those handsome young men she thought to tell his nation about them. That's how she was supporting them.

She went to her neighbours to ask for salt to prepare food for the guests,saying we don't have it.

That's how the nation came to know about his young guests. The people gathered in the form of a mob outside the house of the pious man. They started shouting and jolting the door demanding for the young men.

The pious man said here is my daughters and daughters of nation, marry them instead.

But his nation said, women don't interest us, you know that what we want.

The pious man was ashamed on the inhospitality of this nation in front of his guests. He became worried on how to protect his guests, who were silently seeing all this.

It all happened because of his wife, who had more sympathies with that cruel nation than his husband's preachings of divine lessons

They(young men) said at last, don't you worry for us, we are not as we look to you, your nation can't harm us and your family.

Just leave this city at night and don't stop anywhere.

And don't look back until you reach mountains, stay there.

Your nation is not meant to live anymore due to their indecency. Tomorrow will be their last day.

At night the pious man left with his family and the destruction of the cities began.

His wife looked back on the life she was leaving behind and transformed in a pillar of salt, unable to move.

She looked back on the sinful life she was living forgetting a decent life which was awaiting her and her family.

She preferred the former life and left behind when his nation was destroyed.

A rain of stones made of clay was falling on them. Each stone had a name of each town's people written on it and it was hitting the exact person. Earthquake followed by and the cities turned upside down and punched inside the earth.

It was all destroyed for commiting a Sin of homosexuality.

Today we know this valley known as Dead Sea or Sea of Lut. Where no life is found inside it due to its high salt content, except bacteria and fungi. No sea fish or aquatic plant can be found inside it. The human body can't sink in it if tied, rather it will float on the water.

^{In 21st century we listen about Lgbtq commonly in our society. People are changing their genders due to their mental illnesses(or one should say it's their hearts which are ill) to satisfy their unnatural desires}

^{Homosexuality has become normal in western Netflix series and movies. In Pakistan, they are also promoting these things shamelessly, saying some people are born this way or that way.}

^{They sympathise with them and not dislike this act saying it's their so called freedom.}

^{In era of madness as we are living in, we should be aware what we sympathize with. We should remember the wife of lut (AS), she didn't act her nation's ways but only had sympathies with them.}

^{And she didn't get away with that. She was left behind with his devastated nation.}

^{A pillar of salt is present near dead sea which is assumed Lut's wife. The pillar has remained intact for centuries for the mankind to know the consequences of breaking Allah's orders.}

^{And do not be inclined to the wrongdoers or you will be touched by the Fire. For then you would have no protectors other than Allah, nor would you be helped.
