Friends,

Have you ever paused to really think about the phrase in my profile, “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by”? It’s not just a poetic line from Robert Frost; it’s a guiding principle that resonates deeply with how I live my life. There’s something compelling about stepping away from the familiar, well-trodden paths that most people take and instead venturing into the unknown.

It's a bit like choosing to take a walk through the woods where the underbrush is thick and the way forward is unclear. It may be tough, but it's also where the exciting discoveries are.

You see, I'm the kind of person who never goes with the crowd. In a place where it is almost automatic to fit in, I find it infinitely more interesting to stand out. Call it a streak of rebellion, if you will.

I like to think of it as curiosity mixed in with a pinch of doggedness. Where everyone else obeys it and flies down the highway, I take the scenic route and more slowly, a touch more complexly.

Why? You know, personally I believe real innovation, true personal growth, flourishes after you dare to go just a little different.

Let's be honest, the road less traveled is not always easy. There are really times when the way ahead seems so uncertain and the obstacles so huge. But isn't that part of the fun? Isn't the sense of accomplishment from overcoming them far greater than what you get from just following the herd?IMPLIED. After all, who would like to walk in someone's steps? It is somehow satisfying to delve into one's own path. Knowing very well that your adventure is unique.

Along one's way, I have gotten to learn that the majority isn't always right. In fact, sometimes the majority is doing just what is convenient or rather what is really expected.

But where's the fun in that? I always thought that if you want to achieve something special, you have got to do what others will not.

It might amount to risk-taking, taking criticism, or sometimes being lonely, but that's what makes it worthwhile—the chance to discover new and amazing things.

My approach to life isn't just about being different for the sake of it; it's strategically choosing a path that others might skimp over. Sure, it's unconventional, but isn't that why it's going to lead to success?

After all, how can you expect to find new opportunities if you're always doing what everyone else is doing? It's a little like fishing in a pond that nobody has yet discovered; the rewards might be greater, even if it takes a bit more effort.

I am totally sure that, in the end, this way it is going to pay off. Maybe not right now, but some day, and when that does happen, the sweet smell of it is going to be all the better because it will be off from over my own way.

So here's to all the trailblazers, rebels, nonconformists, and those of us forging ahead anyway, making sure that paths remain as much less traveled as possible. Who knows what amazing things we'll find along the way?
