So, in this post I am going to share my full day routine (01/ 01/2026 ) . I hope you people like and enjoy my post

These days the cold is at its peak; the biting cold is so intense that it's difficult to even see the sun. I can't wake up early in the morning, sometimes not until 7:00 AM, and the worst was the day I woke up at 7:45 AM. Today is the first day of 2026, and it's so cold that we can't even think of going anywhere.

So, we'll celebrate the first day of the year 2026 at home. We had already cut the cake at midnight when the new year started. The winter days are so short that by the time I woke up so late, there was no water left. The tap had run dry. I quickly heated some water, gave some to my husband to drink, and prepared his bathwater.

Then I put the kettle on to make tea in the kitchen. To make my husband's clothes a little warmer and more comfortable, I switched on the blower. My husband left for the shop, and only then did I finally relax. The children are currently on winter vacation; the DM (District Magistrate) has ordered the holidays due to the cold weather.

Currently, the holidays have been declared until January 7th, but let's see if the holidays get extended due to the cold. Meanwhile, Kartik's third unit test schedule has arrived, and the exams are starting on January 8th, so the children are getting irritated and saying that these aren't winter vacation holidays, but rather test preparation leave. Which is somewhat true. But if the school didn't send the schedule, the children wouldn't study at all; they would be in full holiday mode.

Going to the shop in this biting cold is difficult for me because time seems to fly by. I can't get any work done, and then there's the intense cold and the wind. I feel the cold very much; I don't feel comfortable until my ears are covered, so I have to sit with my ears wrapped in a shawl. And then when I come back, it's back to the same household chores. Going out in this cold is truly very difficult. But what can you do? Duty calls.

I needed to order some breakfast items and other kitchen supplies. I asked my children to go and get them, but they said, "Mom, we won't go out in this cold weather. Order it online." So I ordered the groceries online: clarified butter (ghee), biscuits, dal moth (a savory snack), and toffees. I got everything at a pretty good price. I even got rice and sugar for free because there was a special offer on some items. The children were happy, and I was happy too.

For dinner, I made chole bhature (chickpea curry with fried bread). I wanted to make something special on the first day of the new year. For dessert, my husband called and asked what he should bring, so I told him to bring whatever he felt like. The children said they wanted gujiya (sweet dumplings) filled with khoya (reduced milk solids), so my husband brought gujiya. I made chole, bhature, pulao (rice pilaf), and salad. Then we all ate dinner. Everyone went back to their own activities, and I quickly finished cleaning up the kitchen and went to my room. After watching TV for a while, we all went to sleep.
