This week's entry is a special one for me because it talks about parents.

👪 How did your parents shape your personality?
Meet my amazing parents
Parents are people who brings us into the world, it could be biologically or through adoption process.
Our parents are our first learning institution. Most of the things children learn are first from their parents.
Our parents shape our personalities, because how children behave is a result of what they have seen their parents do.
Even the bible talks about "giving birth after your own kind".
A child of a lion will possess and demonstrate the character of the father (lion)
Personally, I have a funny nature, I can keep good company, this I learnt from my both parents who never ceases to make us laugh and feel entertained through their action and words. I'm also a goal getter and determined person just like my dad.
👪 What role do your parents play in your overall well-being?

Parents play a crucial role in the lives of their children
•First, they play the role of being a role model. Parents are the first example and first school of their children. The way they act, talk are pathways for the children to follow.
•Parents play the role of supporting and supplying for their children. They provide basic education, shelter, clothing, food, emotional support and attention.
•Parents play the role of an advocate. They supply the children with good moral and spiritual teachings that forms the base of their moral and spiritual life. They are counsellors, mentors and disciplinarian.
👪 How do your parents encourage your dreams and aspirations?
I have always wanted to work in the health sector, after I didn't pass my first exam, I was feeling bad and lost. One day, my parents called me and spoke to me on how they elt that way when they he were younger. They told me not to give you and prayed for me
During the next exam registration, dad paid for my registration, bought me so many books to help me study, he also helped me during my studies
This year, I'll be graduating from school as a health worker. I'm grateful to God and my parents
👪 Share an experience that highlighted your parents' sacrifices for you?
My parents had sent so much money, thousands of naira to ensure I write my first health exam, but I couldn't qualify to enter into school when the results came out. I felt so bad that I had wasted so much money which they're worked so hard to get. I didn't even mention it to them again, since I was still remorseful about the first
I didn't know my parents have been saving so much and selling most of their valuables to ensure I write the following year. They didn't tell me about there plans. It them so much, they worked harder, sold valuable treasures just for me to be get into school.
My Parents have really sacrificed more than I could thank of or repay.
