Hello again everyone. Hope you people are doing well and having great time. I am @bushramalik again for taking part in contest organised by Steem For Pakistan.

I find this topic interesting and wanna take part in it. So here's my Entry.


What is meditation? How is it useful for our health?

Meditation is a technique for bringing about relaxation, focus, and mindfulness. It can be an effective way to reduce stress, increase self-awareness, and improve physical and mental health. By practicing meditation regularly, people can develop a greater capacity for resilience, compassion, and creativity. It is also a mental practice that involves focusing the mind and calming the body. By doing so, it can help increase awareness and reduce stress, anxiety and depression.


What are the basic guidelines of meditation for the beginners?

  1. It is important to have a place where you can meditate in peace and quiet, without any distractions.
  2. Set aside a specific time each day to meditate. It is best to meditate at the same time each day to make it a habit.
  3. Find a comfortable position, whether it be sitting in a chair, cross-legged on the floor, or lying down. Keep your back straight and your body relaxed.
  4. Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Take slow, deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling through your nose.
    Your mind will wander and thoughts will come and go. Simply notice them and let them pass. Do not engage with them or try to push them away.
  5. When you have finished meditating, take a moment to express gratitude for the time spent meditating and for your ability to practice mindfulness.

How do you practise every day?

By doing practice things become better even one become master of thing. Again everyone like different way of doing practice meditation.

  1. The more you practice, the easier it will become. Try to make it a part of your daily routine.
  2. Start with 5-10 minutes a day and gradually increase the amount of time you spend meditating.
    3.Place reminders around your home or office to help you remember to meditate.
    4.Consider joining a meditation class or group to receive guidance and support from others.
  3. Remember that meditation takes practice and patience. Do not get discouraged if you find it difficult at first. Keep trying and it will become easier with time.

What kind of good result do you find in your body after meditation?

There are different results for different people. But some are general everyone feel it after doing. In my view these are;

  1. Regular meditation practice helps in improving mental clarity and focus, making it easier to concentrate on tasks.
  2. Meditation helps in calming the mind and reducing stress levels. It also helps in managing anxiety and depression.
  3. Meditation helps in promoting self-awareness, making it easier to understand oneself and one's thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
  4. People who meditate regularly often report improved sleep patterns, leading to better overall health.
  5. Meditation has been shown to lower blood pressure, which can reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.
