It's a time to share my Eid experience with you all. Yes, I am here to participate in the contest arranged by @faran-nabeel who is MOD at the community “Steem For Pakistan”. So let's start:-
Eid ul Fitr is a joyus festival that celebrates in the end of the holy month of Ramadan. This is one of the most important vacations for Muslims around the world.During Eid ul Fitr, families and friends gather jointly to pray, exchange gifts and enjoy tasty meals. It is a time to remember the spiritual growth that has happened during Ramadan and to show gratitude for all of the benefits in their lives.The joy of Eid ul Fitr is truly virulent. The streets are loaded with laughter and excitement, as people of all ages experience traditional festivities such as wearing new clothes, giving money to children(EIDI), and adorning their homes with vibrant colors.
Above all, Eid ul Fitr is a beautiful reminder of the unity and peace that lives within the Muslim community. It is a time to circulate love and kindness and celebrate the variety and richness of our different cultures and traditions.
According to me, Eid always starts after the Eid moon rises. What we call “CHAND RAAT”. This night is no less than a festival. On this night, people leave their homes for markets and restaurants. Some go for Eid shopping and some come to see the night scenes as the markets are decorated on this night. Women and girls go to parlors and apply henna. And then restaurants are also very popular, people go to eat after shopping.
It is said that this Eid is for women and girls and women make a lot of preparations for this Eid. Applying henna, getting dressed, wearing gujres and many more are part of this night. Jewelery and henna stalls are set up everywhere in the bazaars so that everyone can easily take advantage of it.
Eid ul Fitr is one of the two major festivals honored by Muslims around the world. It points out the end of the holy month of Ramadan, which is a month-long period of fasting and blessing. On this day, Muslims offer particular prayers, known as Eid ul Fitr prayers, to thank Allah for his endorsements and to search for his forgiveness.
Eid ul Fitr prayers are offered early in the morning, after a healthful and strong breakfast. It is suggested that these prayers are performed in an open area or a large gathering, such as a community center, masjid or prayer ground.
After the Eid prayer, all the men hug each other to say Eid Mubarak and express their happiness. After that, they go to their respective homes and celebrate Eid with each other. It has become a tradition to hug each other and say Eid Mubarak. In the same way, when you meet your relatives, the joys of Eid are expressed. After that, all the adults give the Eid in the form of money to the children. And all the other relatives and friends give gifts and sweets to each other. Eid is all about celebrate happiness.
This Eid was very different from other Eids because this was my first Eid after Marriage. So that's why this was very different from other Eid. I wasn't expecting so much joyful Eid but I was wrong. My husband made my Eid days memorable. we start preparing for Eid a few days after the month of Ramadan begins. But this time I did Eid shopping two days before Eid and this has never happened before. I have a lot of excitement for Eid, that's why I start preparing for Eid as soon as Ramadan starts, but this time I was at my in-laws' house and my husband didn't have time due to work, so two days before Eid, I did my Eid Shopping.
On the day of Eid, I woke up early in the morning and made dessert. I made Kheer on the first day of Eid and custard on the second day of Eid. Then my husband brought breakfast from outside and we ate. After that, I send him to the masjid for Eid prayer. As he left home I quickly got ready for Eid. We met our relatives, cooked food made pictures went outside, and had so much fun on Eid. I also received Eidi from my in-laws and my parents as well. So this Eid was different I enjoyed it but I missed my family too.
