Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is obligatory for Muslims to fast throughout this month. Shab al-Qadr is also in this month. According to the Qur'an, "The worship of this night is better than the worship of a thousand months." The most important worship of this month is fasting, recitation of the Holy Qur'an, staying awake at night in the odd nights of the last decade, supplicating for forgiveness, to the believers. It includes breaking the fast and helping the poor and needy.

In the month of Ramadan, many religious rituals are organized in Muslim countries and society, for example: Taraweeh prayer and I'tikaf in the last ten years. In the same way, many actions and rituals are performed, such as arranging the Iftar table and inviting others to the Iftar, etc.Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam. Which is called 'Sawm' in Arabic. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) kept the nine Ramadan fasts of his life.

Ramadan is the blessed month in which Allah revealed the Holy Quran. On one blessed night of Ramadan, the entire Qur'an was revealed in the sky of the world, so on that night, Allah, the Exalted, bestowed excellence on all nights and called it the Night of Qadr, saying:
"The night of Qadr is better than a thousand months."

By following the teachings of the Holy Prophet, we should also fill our feet with the virtues and blessings of this month, and illuminate our hearts with this light and blessings so that on the day of Mahshar we too can find a place in the ranks of the righteous, the dhikreen and the humble and the Prophet. In this holy month, worship has been prescribed as a duty in such a way that a person can be busy with all his needs and desires along with this worship and can also engage in this particular way of worship, such a special way. The worship of is called fasting, which is made obligatory in this month, fasting is a strange worship that a person can do all his work by fasting, industry, trade, and pilgrimage can be done well by fasting. Then the big thing is that even when engaging in these activities, the worship of fasting continues to be released spontaneously from the fasting person and he continues to get the reward of engaging in worship.
