I would love to appreciate your presence here on my blog, thanks for the previlledge given to me by this wonderful community to share my participation, thanks for your tireless efforts to see that the community keeps moving. I want to share on my favourite food in winter which I know everyone has his or her choice too so keep reading down as you read to know mine.

What is your favorite food to enjoy in winter, and why?

Winter season is the coldest season of the year. This season demands that whatever an individual will eat, should be a food that will make an individual sweat immediately. I really don't like cold seasons, I am not also a fan of heat period infact I hate it, so as it stands now, I can say that the winter season is my best season because I prefer cold which I can control than heat that I find it very difficult sometimes to control especially when there is no power supply to on my fan.

So, the favourite food I enjoy in the winter is hot Tuwo and Egusi soup. I am from the northern part of Nigeria and Tuwo means anything swallowable so this particular swallow and this soup is my favourite because after eating this very food, I sweat like goat because it's my favourite and I love to consume such food during cold period.

Is there a specific recipe or ingredient that makes it unique for you?

  • Grinded Egusi flour
  • Peppers
  • Onion
  • Oggu leaf
  • Maggi seasoning cubes
  • Alittle palm oil

How your favorite food is prepared? Provide us a short overview.

Yes! The above picture carries the main ingredient of Egusi soup and the swallow is a very minor case. The oggu leaves, pepper and onion, the grinded Egusi flour and the rest but the specific recipe and most needed ingredients is the above shown in the picture. I love the fact that I can cook this soup by myself because I will eat it at anytime I want.

The first thing to do is to boil your water, drop alittle palm oil to give it a soupy colour, blend your peppers and onion, turn the egusi flour into the water and stir, allow for 2minutes to cook after which you add your seasonings then finally your Vegetables.

If you were asked to share this food with some of your Steemian friends, who would it be and why?

I would like to share this food with every body, I mean every steemian irrespective of the country you live but the truth is that I can't reach to everyone and I know that I cannot serve us all so I would like to invite just a few friends and family to join me in this meal and I promise you that your love for other meals will depreciate so, join me friends and attest to how sweet the meal is😋
