SCS32-W3 || Real Life Problem Solving Challenge: Time Management
Time is one of the most valuable assets in life. Proper use of time is the foundation of all success. Those who value their time consistently achieve their goals, while those who neglect it often face failure and regret.
As a doctor, I follow a disciplined daily routine. I hope that by sharing it with you, it may provide some benefit and inspiration, InshaAllah.
01. How do you organize your daily schedule?
Proper time management helps me balance my professional duties, religious activities, family responsibilities, and personal growth. I use the Notes App on my mobile phone to organize my daily schedule. Every night, I review my routine and make adjustments if necessary.
My daily routine is as follows:
4:00 AM – Arise from sleep
4:15 AM to 5:30 AM – Mosque for prayer, zikr, Quran recitation, and meditation
6:00 AM to 8:30 AM – Rest/Sleep
9:00 AM to 1:30 PM – Hospital OPD duty
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM – Lunch and rest
4:00 PM to 7:00 PM – Private clinic duty
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM – Family time
10:00 PM to 11:30 PM – Social media and online activities
11:45 PM – Sleep
02. What is the most important activity in your day that takes up the most time and is also essential?
The most important activity in my day is serving patients as a doctor. A large portion of my day is spent in the hospital and clinic, where I examine patients, diagnose illnesses, provide treatment, and educate people about health.
This activity is not only my profession but also a responsibility toward society. Helping sick people recover gives me satisfaction and purpose.
On average, I spend about 7 to 8 hours daily in patient care between hospital and clinic duties.

03. What is the technique that saves you time?
The technique that saves me the most time is planning my day in advance and following a fixed routine.
Instead of deciding what to do throughout the day, I already know my schedule. This reduces distractions and increases productivity. I also use my mobile phone's Notes App to keep important tasks organized.
Some habits that save my time are:
Creating a daily schedule
Prioritizing important tasks
Limiting unnecessary social media use
Completing tasks at their assigned time
Avoiding procrastination
04. Have you ever struggled with poor time management? How have you improved it?
Yes, there was a time when I used social media without any specific limits. Sometimes I would spend more time online than planned, which affected my productivity.
To improve my time management, I started following a structured daily routine and fixed specific hours for social media. I also began writing down my daily activities and priorities.
As a result:
My productivity increased.
I became more punctual.
I completed tasks more efficiently.
I had more time for family and personal development.
This experience taught me that discipline is the key to effective time management.
05. What advice would you give to others to manage their time better?
I would like to share the following tips:
✅ Start your day early.
✅ Make a daily schedule and follow it consistently.
✅ Prioritize important tasks.
✅ Avoid wasting time on unnecessary activities.
✅ Limit social media usage.
✅ Keep a balance between work, family, and personal life.
✅ Review your day before sleeping.
✅ Stay disciplined and punctual.
Remember:
Time is one of the most valuable assets in life. Those who respect their time usually achieve success, while those who waste it often regret it later.
Conclusion
Time management plays a crucial role in both personal and professional success. As a doctor, following a structured routine helps me fulfill my responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a healthy balance between work, family, and spiritual activities. I hope my routine and experience inspire others to manage their time more effectively.

Being a doctor requires a lot of dedicated time to patients and situations. But being able to manage time properly won't allow your work to be a burden to you. And you've handled that already with a working technique.
You method of time management is good.
You've written well sir.
I think I love your method of time management as a doctor. It is not always easy to fit in with your daily plans because of emergencies but with time management, you are able to get focused and make result at the end of the day.
Your planning schedule is amazing.
Time management plays a vital role in your profession and in your family because you will need to calculate time you spend in a day. Time to things before living, time to pray, time at the office, time to be on social media, time to come back, time to eat mostly especially food because no food no strength to be attending to patients, because some doctors that I know don't really have time to do things especially when you have no time to rest in the office for at least five minutes, no time to eat and spend time with the family especially on weekends.
Thank you for sharing this. I wish you good luck in the contest
