“Ramadan Far from Home — Carrying Faith with a Heavy Heart”

🌟اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اَللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ🌟

Ramadan is not just a month of fasting. It is a month of patience, gratitude and deep reflection. Ramadan is the month of blessings. This is the time when hearts become soft. A man feels closer to his Lord. The fun of Ramadan in our homeland is something else. The walk of the family at Suhoor, the iftar made by hands of the mother and everyone sitting at the same table with the call to prayer. All these moments are remembered for a lifetime.

But spending Ramadan abroad is not really easy. Fasting away from relatives, preparing sehri by oneself, breaking Iftar by oneself. Then praying in silence. All this has to be done with a stone in the heart. For foreigners, this month is also a test of patience and courage. It is also a source of strength of faith.

Today on the third Iftar in Saudia my son prepared himself along with his friends. Seeing him, the heart was filled with joy and pride. He made a variety of things with great passion. The crispy and savory pakoras, golden and crunchy chips, cool sweet cream chat and smooth curd bhalles. The delicious fruit chaat in which he added a variety of fresh and juicy fruits. He prepared everything with love and labor and then broke the fast with his friends.

Seeing this scene I realized that the real beauty of Ramadan is in sharing. Whether it is home or abroad. If the intention is clear and there is love in the heart. The blessings of Ramadan descend everywhere.

May Allah grant ease to all foreigners, accept their fasts and prayers and reunite them with their loved ones soon. Amen.

Ramadan teaches us patience, gratitude and love. That is its greatest blessing.

I just want to say THANKS to this beautiful moment that gave me peace and inspiration to write. Small things touch to my heart deeply. It remind me how is beautiful life when we really stop and feel it.
