How many oceans are in the world?

Before I go ahead to talk about the different oceans in the world. I would like to first of all define an ocean.

An ocean is a body of salt water that covers approximately 70.8 percent of the earth. It is a large body of water. An ocean contains 97 percent of Earth’s water and is the primary component of the hydrosphere. Therefore it is very essential to life.

  • We have 4 major well-known oceans in the world. They include:
    Pacific Ocean
    Indian Ocean
    Arctic Ocean
    Atlantic ocean

However, most countries - including the United States - now recognize the Southern (Antarctic) as the fifth ocean. The Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian are the most commonly known.
The Southern Ocean is the 'newest' named ocean. It is recognized by the USA Board on Geographical Names as a body of water extending from the coast of Antarctica to the line of latitude at 60 degrees South. The perimeters of this ocean were presented to the International Hydrographic Organization in 2000. Nevertheless, not all countries agree on the proposed boundaries, so this has yet to be approved by members of the International Hydrographic Organization.

Which scientist developed the theory of gravity?

According to History, it was discovered that Sir Isaac Newton formulated the theory of gravity in 1665. He saw an apple fall from a tree straight down to the ground without turning sideways. This made him curious to know why the apple fell straight. It was his curiosity that led him to formulate the theory of gravity.

And he describes gravity as a force causing any two bodies to be attracted toward each other, with magnitude proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

How many total bones are present in a newborn and adult?

A newborn baby has a total of 300 bones in their little body. These bones are short and mainly formed by cartilages.

So as the baby grows older, these 300 bones begin to grow bigger too. And they they fuse together to form 206 bones in the adult. So an adult has 206 bones in their body. While a baby has 300 bones. This is really interesting to know.

Thank you very much for reading, I would like to invite my friends @pandora2010 @saintkelvin17 and @pea07 to join me in this contest.
