"Contest Alert !!! || "Goal Setting For 2025".

At the dawn of any given year, we look back and begin to recount our achievements based on the goals we set for that year. In one way or the other, we have looked back on the past year, counting our losses and blessings and, on the other hand, being grateful for the most achievable thing, which is life.

For this year, 2025, there's no difference. We must have a goal. Without a set goal, it will be difficult to run our year. Even if we do, we may miss some important aspects. Hence, the importance of setting up our goals.

My top three goals are simple but hectic. My specific goals are as follows:

• Setting up a savings scheme for myself. It seems very simple, but for me, it's not. In the past years, I have developed different schemes which worked for me at that time but are not too efficient currently. So I have developed another pattern of savings which I think should be better.

The importance of my savings is to enable me meet up with most of my financial needs for the year. Not just that, the money saved I'll use to start up a little business.

• The second goal for this year is to do extra business, which I've made plans with my mother already to kick-start by the end of this month. Through this business, which is agro-palm fruit harvesting and processing. My goal is to partner with my mother, to save up to get my own palm tree farm.

This is important to me because, through this business, I will bid farewell to financial struggles, and I'll be able to help my family.

• The last goal for this year is to acquire a few machines for my planned business in 2026 from my various savings for this year. You can see I have a long-term goal which is expected to be achieved in 2026. That's the main reason my number one goal is to develop a more effective savings scheme in order to achieve all the others.

You can agree with me that everything today needs money. Tell me if you don't have an effective savings plan, will you be able to achieve it? Of course, no. You will not be able to achieve any.

One thing is to have our goals, another one is to achieve them. Now how do I stay motivated to achieve them?

1. I must be focused on my goals. One can be focused on understanding how important these goals are. To stay motivated, I have written them down in my diary. Looking at them every time will remind me to keep up with them.

1. For savings, I have already opened a savings account in which I set an automatic transfer from my main account into a savings box which is part of the bank's portfolio. From the bank's savings policy, you must make a withdrawal before the due date, which is the last day of this year, December 31st. If I withdraw, I will lose part of my savings. This alone will motivate me to continue and not try to look back.

1. I have discussed these goals with the people closest to me, who are my husband and my mother. They serve as a watchdog to keep reminding me of what I need to do. The partnership with my mother is a good motivation to be able to acquire my goal, which is owning my own palm tree farm.

2. I've also set the timing and what I need to achieve at a time. For instance, from January, I will kick-start two things, which are beginning the savings and harvesting my first palm fruits for oil production. That's my partnership business with my mother.

Oh, it will help me a lot.

• I need financial freedom to be able to help my family. So, owning a business will help me a lot to support my husband so that our goals as a family will be achieved.

• It will help me pursue my education and also meet my personal needs and that of my family members, especially that of my children.

• As a Christian, I also need to help others, not just in my church but around my neighbourhood. It grieves me so much when I see people I could help but can't do so due to my low and unstable financial status. Most times it breaks and moves me to tears, making me feel sad. I need to be financially stable to be able to help others.

Yes, I do. Just like I had last year, to be active and posting daily or at least making five posts a week. I also promised to achieve at least a thousand plus SP. The two goals I have achieved and even more on steemit.

This year, I am praying I want to achieve my first dolphin or at least 3000 SP. This will only be attainable through hard work, creating quality posts and being consistent on the platform.

If I can achieve the desired SP, it's possible to apply as a curator on steemit.

Goals setting is very important and necessary to be able to achieve our dreams in life. If you have a dream, it must have first started as a goal before it becomes an achievement.
