Lions are present in which continent mostly

The lion is a large cat of the gerus panthera, native to Africa and India. It has a muscular broad chested body, a short rounded head, round ears and a dark hairy tuft at the tip of it's tail. Most wild Lions lived in Africa.

There are two formally recognized Lions:
The African lions (panthera Leo Leo) found in Africa, south of the Sahara desert.
Then we have Asiatic Lions which can be found in southern India respectively.

Elephant are the largest living land animals, there are three living species of elephant which are currently recognized:
The first is the African bush elephant,
The second is the African forest elephant while the third one is the Asian elephant, they are mostly the natives to Asia and perhaps Africa.

Well, the favorite meals of Lions are zebras, wildebeests and buffalos, although they also feeds or hunt smaller creatures such as hares and birds.

While the elephant on the other hand comsume plenty of grasses, small plants, fruits, twigs, tree barks, are of course favorite food sources for elephant.
