The Diary game. From Responsibilities to Relaxation: A Day in My Life
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
Due to the longer nights these days, a person’s sleep tends to end earlier in the morning. When the call for prayer is heard from the mosque, one doesn’t feel like staying in bed. Instead, they get up and head straight to the mosque. This is my story—one that repeats every morning. I start my day by waking up for the morning prayer. This way, I begin my day with a virtuous act that brings me peace and contentment.
After the prayer, I make supplications for myself, my friends, and my relatives, praying for their progress and prosperity. This is the account of the first act of my morning, and in this manner, I begin my day with something that brings tranquility to my soul.
After performing the morning prayer, I return home. These days, I can’t go for a walk because of the extreme cold, which increases the risk of falling ill. To avoid these issues, I head straight home and do some physical exercises indoors to keep myself fit.
Life feels a bit stagnant these days because of the cold, and it’s getting harder. In the coming days, it will become even more challenging when the snow begins to fall, making life even tougher. But that’s also the unique beauty of this place, and there’s a distinct joy in it as well.
After finishing my morning exercise, I have breakfast with my family in the dining room. Today, I took leave from the office. The reason for this was that some office-related tasks had been pending for a while. Since I had been continuously going to the office last week, I hadn’t been able to complete these tasks. One of the pending tasks was the online registration of new voters. Over the past week, I had been visiting the field to collect data for new voters, but uploading that data to the portal remained incomplete.
So, I decided to take leave today and finish this work from home at my convenience. Since I was at home, I also went outside to oversee the tile work being done in our courtyard and spent some time there. These kinds of tasks provide valuable experience, and being there, I realized how challenging the working conditions are for the people here.
Given the cold mornings, it’s tough even to keep one’s hands out in the open, let alone work. On top of that, using water—especially cold water—makes the job even harder.
I spent the entire day working and managed to register almost all the voters whose forms I had collected during my field visits. Once I finished the task, I felt a sense of accomplishment. Since this responsibility is entrusted to us, it is our duty to fulfill it, especially as we are paid for this work. Completing my target was a satisfying experience.
Afterward, I decided to meet my friends in the evening. I went to the market, where one of my friends owns a shop. That’s usually our meeting spot. By the time I arrived, my friends were already there, and they had ordered some snacks beforehand. I joined them, chatted for a while, and then headed back home.
In the evening, my brothers and I felt like having some fruit, so I opened the crate of pears that we had stored earlier.
In the evening, we had dinner at around 8:30. After that, I went to my room, opened some books, and read for a while. When I started feeling bored, I switched to social media for some entertainment. I spent some time watching reels, and then, at around 11:30, I went to sleep. That’s how I ended my day.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
