The average internet speed in Nigeria is equal to global standards. In Nigeria, we are using both 2G, 3G, and 4G networks with 5G networks 🛜 being used in parts of the country. In my place, the internet speed is very high compared to global standards. I do have a steady network for browsing and doing several things online, via the internet without delay of the network.

Do you know how to test the speed of the internet? Share step by step the whole procedure.

Yes, I know how to test the speed of the internet. I do use a speed checker to test the speed of my internet whenever I want to test the speed of my internet. It is an approach that ensures that the entire bandwidth of my internet connection is maxed out and thereby the maximum data throughput can be measured.

There are not many steps needed in testing the speed of the internet using speedchecker which I usually do is to visit the website https://www.speedcheck.org/ and click on start test which will then do the scanning and testing of the speed of my internet.

How the slow internet speed can affect our personal and professional lives?

The slow internet speed can affect our personal and professional lives by causing delays in our lives or professional lives. For example working in a bank that requires the use of internet speed, which if there's slow internet speed would delay your activities for that day as you wouldn't be able to attend to many customers.

As for our personal lives, it also makes us feel bad and unhappy, for instance after writing what you will post on the Steemit platform at the end of the day you are unable to post it due to slow internet speed you will feel unhappy.

In your opinion, what steps can be taken to improve internet speed and accessibility in your country?

In my opinion, the steps that can be taken to improve internet speed and accessibility in Nigeria is to install GMS mass across almost every part of the country. Whether MTN, Airtel, or Globacom they need to install the mass not only in urban areas but also in rural areas to provide Nigerians with high internet speed and accessibility.

Awesome! It’s great to hear that your internet speed meets or even exceeds global standards. Having such a stable network is certainly helpful for online productivity, learning, or entertainment. The implementation of 5G technology in some parts of the country is also an impressive step forward for digital connectivity in Nigeria. Hopefully more areas will be able to enjoy similar networks in the future!
