The Diary Game: Resuming Work For The Year (12|01|2026)

Monday morning and I am back fully to my work for the first time in the year. I was on leave after that much stress on December and today I resumed work early. I went with my track suit because it was very cold in the morning. I took over the work from those in the night shift.

When I resumed the work for the day, my manager was so excited to see me back at work. He handed me some naira notes as a welcome gift, I took it and then I appreciated him then locked it in the staff's locker and went back to the reception to see customers that needed my service.

By the special grace of God, I was able to get the customer's orders and gave to the people in the kitchen early enough. When I finished, I went straight to the staff quarters waiting for customers to call me to come attend to them.

When I went to go and get customers food in the kitchen, the chief cook gave me this steak of fruits, I appreciated him then I ate everything in the plate before I took the food to the customers. When I finished delivering their food, I waited for them to finish eating so I can pack the plates back to the kitchen. For some that ate immediately, I was able to pack the plates on time and then took it back home.

After work, I went back to my house to go and rest. My first day at work this week is so stressful. I was still on my bed, didn't even know when sleep took me off guard. I slept and then I woke up in the evening.

When I finished working, I cooked jollof rice and ate for dinner. You can see from the tray that it's very much and I ate everything in there. It was after eating that I felt it, I couldn't stand up and I waited for sometime to digest.

When I stood up, I packed the plates to the kitchen and kept then I went out to go and stroll. I wanted the food to digest really fast so that I will be able to sleep at night. I worked through the dark and after a while, I came back to my house.

When I came back, I met my landlord and other tenants staying outside, I talked with them and till 8pm, I went inside so that I can prepare and share my diary before going to bed. I love you all my friends.
