Today I bring you the story of a hawker. Their hard work cannot be expressed in words. Almost hawkers come from far away and work for about 400-500 kilometers. Almost every day, some hawker comes near my house and I talk to them about their family, their daily income, their life. Almost all hawkers live far away. They come here and work tirelessly to earn some money. Some say they earn four to five hundred taka, some say seven or eight, and sometimes they earn as much as one thousand taka. They cook their own food and eat. They bring food for lunch in a box. They keep a little money for themselves and keep the rest of the income for their family. Many children are educated and bear the expenses of their families. Some say it is very difficult to move with their family. They wake up in the morning, pack their vans, pack all their belongings, and go out. They work all day long until evening. At night, they return home, cook, and eat. Truly, every person is a warrior in his own place.
We are comfortable because of the tireless work of people, but we do not value people properly.
