Introduction
Today I made Chicken Keema Tikkis at home These tikkis are very soft and juicy They have a lot of flavor. The secret for the best texture is using bread crumbs and milk Also make sure to squeeze the water out of the onions
Ingredients
Chicken Keema 1 kg
Onion chopped and squeezed 1 piece
Green Chilies chopped 2 pieces
Fresh Coriander As needed
Salt To taste
Red Chili Powder 1 tablespoon
Black Pepper Powder 1 teaspoon
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tablespoon
Cumin 1 teaspoon
Bread Slices 4 pieces
Milk 2 tablespoons
Dry Coriander Powder 1 tablespoon
Garam Masala 1 teaspoon
Ghee 1 tablespoon
Take 4 bread slices and grind them to make fine crumbs. Chop 1 onion and squeeze out all the extra water This step is very important It stops the mixture from becoming watery.
Making the Mixture
Take the chicken keema in a large bowl Add salt and red chili powder and black pepper. Add the ginger garlic paste and cumin Now add the dry coriander powder and garam masala. Add the green chilies and fresh coriander leaves
Put the squeezed onion into the bowl. Add the bread crumbs. Then add 2 tablespoons of milk and 1 tablespoon of ghee. Mix everything very well. The mixture should be smooth
Cover the bowl. Let it rest for 30 minutes. This helps the flavors mix well
After 30 minutes take the mixture Shape it into round or oval tikkis. You can make them any size you like
Heat a non stick pan on low flame Add a little oil and spread it. Place the tikkis in the pan. Cook them on low heat. Cook both sides until they are golden brown. Make sure they are cooked fully inside.
Final Result
Your soft and juicy Chicken Keema Tikkis are ready You can serve them with ketchup or raita. You can also use any dip you like.
This was my simple and delicious recipe I hope you like it and try it at home
