🌅 Starting My Day with Fajr Prayer
Today, I woke up early in the morning at around 5:30 a.m. I performed Wudu at home and went straight to the mosque. I offered the Fajr prayer and then started walking back home. On the way, I met some friends and had a short conversation with them.
🌿 A Peaceful Morning Walk
After that, I went to the green fields near my home for a morning walk. I walked around for a while, did some light exercise, and enjoyed the peaceful morning atmosphere. I stayed there for some time, took a few deep breaths, and tried to relax and calm my mind. After spending some peaceful moments in the fields, I returned home and lay down on my charpai for a little while.
👨🔧 My Brother Called Me for Work
After some time, my elder brother came into my room and asked me, "Are you going to work today, or are you free?" I work as an electrician, but I did not have any special work that day, so I told him that I was free.
My brother then said, "Come with me. I will get you a day's work today. Come and help me for a while." My brother is a plumber and works with boring machines, tube wells, water pumps, and motors. He had a job to install some equipment, and another person was waiting for us at the worksite.
He told me to have breakfast quickly and get ready to go with him. I agreed and said, "Okay, I will come with you."
🚶♂️ Leaving Home for the Job
At around 9:00 a.m., both of us left our home and reached the place where the work was supposed to be done. When we arrived, we saw that another experienced worker was already there. He was a senior worker who usually worked with my brother as a partner.
The work was quite difficult and required three people, so the three of us started working together.
🔧 Installing the Pipes and Pump
First, we had to install four-inch pipes on the tube well. The large pipes had to be heated so that we could make the necessary joints and sockets and fit them properly.
We first collected some firewood and made a fire. Then we heated the pipes over the fire. After heating them, we lowered the pipes and fitted them together.
We also had to install a large submersible pump into the pipes below. It was a very difficult job, and we had to work extremely hard to fit the pump properly.
⚡ Preparing the DP Box
After installing the pump and completing the other fittings, our next task was to prepare the DP box for the pump.
Since I know electrical work, I was able to help with the electrical connections. The owner of the property brought the DP box, wires, and other electrical equipment.
I explained to my brother how the connections needed to be made and what had to be installed to operate the pump and other equipment. My brother prepared the DP box and connected the necessary wires. Then I completed the remaining electrical connections and fitted them properly to the meter.
💧 Testing the Tube Well
Once all the fittings were completed, the only thing left was to start the tube-well pump and test everything.
The property owner was not there at that moment, so we asked his worker to start the pump. We turned on the pump and tested the equipment and water supply to make sure everything was working properly.
Everything worked successfully, and the owner was very happy with our work. He appreciated our hard work and told us to wait there for a while because he wanted to bring something for us to eat and drink.
🍬 Some Refreshments After the Work
His worker went to the market and brought some sweets, cold drinks, and other refreshments for us. We ate and drank together while waiting.
After some time, the property owner also arrived. He checked the work and was satisfied with everything we had done. He then paid us our wages, and our payment was cleared.
🏠 Returning Home
After receiving our payment, my brother and I left for home. By the time we reached home, it was around three or four o'clock in the afternoon.
I was extremely tired after working so hard throughout the day. As soon as I got home, I rested for a while.
❤️ A Tiring but Productive Day
It had been a long and tiring day, but I was happy because I had spent the day doing useful work, helping my brother, and earning money through honest hard work.
This day reminded me that every kind of honest work has its own value. Sometimes a day may be physically tiring, but when we complete our work successfully and earn through our own hard work, it gives us a feeling of satisfaction and happiness.
