Contest Entry : One Picture and One Story #97

Hello Steemians I'm @mcgrady.

For so many months I haven't participated in this contest and I was always playing the steem memory game since I didn't had much time for steemit until I didn't have any time at all for steemit. For today I just want to say something about my passion for making skits in the streets of Portharcourt city. I started making skits before 2024.

It is something that has been part of my life for a very long time and it has never been easy. It takes alot of time to make a skit and even after shooting a video we always ensure that we make a very perfect edit. I'm the tall guy in this picture and the boy that's also in this picture was one of my crew members but he travelled and didn't also had much time to join us when he came back.

He's still a high school student and he doesn't get much freedom. I remember when we made a skit together in one of the compound in our vicinity, before making the skit one of our crew members took a picture of the both of us with his iPhone and after snapping us we look at and discovered is a very nice picture. I was so overwhelmed at how sharp it looks.

iPhone is popularly known as a device with a very standard camera. I told him to send the picture to me via WhatsApp since I wasn't with my phone to get it from him through Xender application. When I arrived home I checked for the picture in my WhatsApp inbox and I admired it more. It was really a big moment for me because for some months before that day I haven't taken a picture because I was busy with alot of schedules especially with things concerning my academics.

Recently I have been acting skits alone because that's based on my current script, when is time to bring others to join me I won't hesitate to allow them to act with me. There are always people from different places that do act skits and they do have some long-term crew members and also short-term crew members. Before this month ends I know I will make more than one skits. I just need to make a very interesting script for that.
